Ana rushed into the bathroom stall and sat on the toilet. Staring at the stall door straight ahead. This sudden wave of sadness hit her like a ton of bricks. Tears began to flow down the sides of her cheeks. Her mind was flooded with memories of her childhood. Glimpses of her father's face. When was this pain in her heart going to stop feeling like a knife piercing through so deep?

Ana felt so stupid crying in the bathroom like this. She didn't want anyone to come in and find her. She couldn't stop weeping no matter how hard she tried to. She didn't want to go back out there in the church service. She couldn't muster up the courage to go back in. She didn't want anyone to notice that she had been crying. Especially Adam.

Ana had no idea why she even cared about what Adam thought about her. The mere thought of Adam stirred up emotions inside her that she couldn't understand. Ones that she seemed to have no control over. She was mixed up inside. Her feelings were all over the map. Happy. Sad. Confused. Dazed? Numerous thoughts raced through her head. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Trying to calm herself down. The image of her father flashed before her eyes. Then she saw Adam's smiling face looking at her.

"What was that?" She shook the thought from her head.

Ana quickly opened up her eyes to check if Adam was standing there. She was still sitting in on the toilet with the stall door closed. Confused to why she saw his face when she closed her eyes. Maybe if she started thinking about something else, like dance, all these emotions would go away. She wiped the tears away from her face. Trying to shake off the image of Adam.

She decided that she needed to find some place to be alone. And practice on her dance. It was the only way she knew how to clear her mind. There was no need for her to sit thought another service anyway. She already sat through the first one. She was going to have to communicate with her sister. She could text her just to let her that she was fine. There was no need for her family to get worried and come looking for her.

"What am I going to say to them? How am I going to explain why I am not coming back into service?"

Ana's mind was completely blank. She couldn't think of one perfect lie that would be believable enough to fool her sister. She was going to have to tell her the truth. But not completely.

"Jess, not feeling 2 good. hangin in the bathroom. msg me after service"
