Zach walked Ana away from the dance and tried to get her to open up to him about what was going on. He kept asking her what was wrong and why she was being so quiet. Ana finally told him that it was just really weird for her to have people stare at her and talk about her. She explained to him that she was just used to blending in the background and hanging out by herself back in Miami. Ana told Zach that they were completely opposite of each other because she was never popular in school and she liked being by herself.

This was just going to take some time for her to get used to. There was just so many new changes in her life the past few months, it was a bit overwhelming for her to deal with. Zach had stopped Ana, grabbed her hands, and looked her in the eyes.

"Are you sure you are ready to date me?"

He begged her to just tell him the truth because if it was too much for her then he would be willing to wait however long he needed to be with her. She was the kind of girl that a guy could wait any length of time for. Ana's heart melted for Zach when he said that to her.

"I am ready. I'm sorry about earlier. I promise I'll try to be more social and hang out with all of your friends."

Zach sweetly kissed Ana on the nose.

"I'd promise you the moon if it meant that I could just be with you."

Ana knew that she had made the right choice of being with Zach. He's has done nothing but be sweet and respectful towards her. She loved that he was always so open and honest with her.

"Is there another place that we could go to still watch the fireworks alone?"

Zach led her to the high school football field. It was slightly dark there but had just enough light for them to see all around. Zach pretended to play football and show Ana some of his moves. Ana shook off her heels and then pretended to catch the air football he threw to her and went running towards the end zone. Zach chased after her and right as he caught up with her he picked her up and swung her around. Ana screamed and laughed until they fell on the ground together. They just laid there for a few minutes laughing and staring at each other. Zach always knew how to make her laugh, that's what she loved about him the most. He reached over and placed his hand in hers and then stared at her as she looked up at the stars.

It reminded her of their favorite song that they just danced to. Ana was amazed by the amount of stars in the night sky.

"Back in Miami we don't get to see this many stars in the sky."

Zach tried to pretend like he knew some of the constellations and pointed up at different stars in the sky. Ana just laughed at him as he tried to make up his own names for the stars and created some funny looking shapes with his fingers.
