Over the next week Ana decided to go exploring around more of the property. Her grandparents had a huge ranch and there was certainly a lot to take in. She even found a nice a little pond in the middle of the trees. There was a rope swing and a little fishing dock going down over the water. Ana had wondered if this was where her mother used to go swimming with her friends. It most certainly would be the perfect place that she would take her friends swimming.

Ana spoke with some more of her friends on Face Time that week. She didn't have enough reception in the middle of the trees to show them some of the cool places that she found when she was out exploring. She did find a few places to be alone to practice for her dance show.

She even met a nearby neighbor. It was a girl that was the same age as her sister. Ana told her about Jess and invited her over to their house sometime. Ana knew that Jess would have an easy time making friends with her.

The next door neighbor girl, Amy, even stopped by the other day. Jess and Amy seemed to have hit it off perfectly with each other. Ana still had not made any new friends. She pretty much kept to herself. When she wasn't dancing she walking around the farm to explore new things in nature.

Ana didn't see Adam around on the farm much that week. She was starting to become a little curious to where he was.

"I wonder if Adam is coming back. He didn't even bother to say goodbye to me." She thought to herself.

She was bothered by the thought of Adam not letting her know he was going to be gone. She was too embarrassed to ask her grandfather where Adam was. He was the only friend that she had made here. It wasn't like they hung out together all the time. Adam usually made an effort to speak to Ana every time he was over at her house.

Mr. Grant usually invited Adam to eat breakfast or lunch with them. Ana would try to sit near him at the table when he was around. He would politely talk with her while they ate. If he wasn't speaking to her grandfather or brother.

Ana was starting to grow fond of Adam. He was very charming. Not to mention handsome. She usually knew when he was going to be at their farm because he would tell her. That is why it bothered her when she didn't see him for a couple of days. Ana tried to convince herself that she wasn't even interested in him. She was only a bit curious of his whereabouts.

Ana hung around her mom and grandmother that week. Lisa and her mother seemed like they were making up for lost time. Ana noticed that her mom was finally starting to look happy again. She was glad to see her mom smile and hear her laugh again. Ana had even laughed a few times at the pair of them. Almost forgetting about everything they've been through recently.
