The next morning when Ana went down to breakfast she noticed that Adam was already sitting there. The only empty seat was right next to Zach. She was surprised to see him sitting there. She had hoped to sit closer to Adam but he was in deep conversation next to her grandfather.

"Good morning. How are you?" Zach spoke lowly to Ana.

"I'm fine thank you."

She was too shy to ask him what he was doing there. Even though she was very curious. Zach waited a few minutes to speak to Ana again. He tried to come up with something clever to say to her. Her lips were sealed tighter than Fort Knox. Ana was too busy looking over at Adam to take much notice in Zach. When Adam didn't bother to look over at her, she turned to Zach to speak with him. Hoping that maybe she could catch Adam's attention by talking with his brother.

"What are you doing here?" Ana finally mustered up the courage to ask him the question.

"Well, Adam needed my help today in Lexington. Plus I wanted the chance to see you again." He was bold and had no reservations about sharing his intentions with Ana.

"Oh, I see. So you had ulterior motives in helping your brother." Ana tried to be sarcastic. Thinking that Zach was trying to be funny with her.

"Exactly. It's not every day a beautiful girl moves into my town." Zach was smooth and charming. Ana was starting to turn a slight shade of pink when she noticed that he was flirting with her. She tried to blow him off as if she didn't notice what he was doing.

"Really, you know someone who just moved here?"

Zach nudged her with his foot under the table.

"I think we both know who I am talking about."

He leaned over and whispered in her ear. His deep blue eyes looked into hers. Ana could feel her ears turn hot and she looked around to see if anyone else heard what they were talking about. The only person paying attention to Zach was Jess. She was totally crushing on him from a distance. Zach spoke so low that nobody else heard what he had said. Ana didn't know how to respond to his candor. Her heart had skipped a few beats. Eyes grew larger as she took in a deep breath.

"What's the matter? Cat got your tongue?"

Ana shot him her best be quiet look with her eyes. Zach just smiled back at her. She couldn't believe that he was so confident. As if every girl fell for his smooth silky words.

"Where's your girlfriend...Amanda right?"

Ana had no idea what to say next. She was sure that bringing up Amanda's name was sure to change the subject. Ana wasn't too sure of Zach. She knew that Amanda was super possessive over him. She never really cared too much for popular boys in school. They usually thought that they could have any girl that they wanted. Ana was not so gullible to fall for any of Zach's tricks or charm.

"Lucky for you, I happen to be single. Amanda is just a friend of mine, not my girlfriend." He winked at Ana as if he was hinting that he was interested in her.

"I don't believe in luck or chance." Ana couldn't believe Zach had the nerve to flirt with her. She was rather annoyed by his bold gestures.

"I heard that you are a great dancer. Ever thought of giving private lessons."

"Not really."

"What about helping severely challenged kids?"

"Where are you going with this?"

"I'm just saying that I might know someone who is in desperate need of some dance lessons."

Jess overheard Zach asking Ana about dance lessons and decided to jump into the conversation.
