Once you took off your mask you looked at their suprise faces.
"Oh gods your a girl! I cant believe I faught a girl, Im so sorry I didnt know."
He rubbed the back of his neck in embarrassment.
"Its alright. Im [Name] and this is Midnight," you gesturing twords Midnight.
"Oh Im Hiccup and this is my mom Valka."
You than walked up to Valka.
"Nice to meet you ma'am."
"Oh, you dont have to be so formal nice to meet you too."
"Oh, my isn't she a beauty may I?"
She was gesturing twords Midnight.
"Oh I dont mind go right ahead," you said smiling.
Valka than started to pet and look over Midnight.
"Oh she's so beautiful! Her eyes are so pretty."
Midnight purrs in content from receiving the compliments.
"How old are you dear if you dont mind me asking?"
"Im 21 years old."
"Oh, Midnight is the same age as you! No wonder you two have such a powerful bond. How long have you been friends?"
"15 years, I met her when I was five."
"Since you were five! Great Thor thats way longer than I have met Toothless," Hiccup said with a wide grin.
"May I?" you said gesturing twords Toothless.
"Sure go right ahead."
You walked to Toothless and scratched behind his ears.
"Toothless eh?" you asked.
"Well when I first met him he had no teeth so yeah," he said with a chuckle.
"Not a bad name. I think it suits him well. Who's this fella?" you said pointing to a four winged dragon.
"Oh that's Cloudjumper my mom's dragon."
"May I?" you asked Valka.
Valka nodded giving you permission. You than slowly walked twords Cloudjumper streaching your hand out in midair. He looked at you than he came closer to you and nuzzled your hand showing you trust.
Hiccup watched you in awe. After petting Cloudjumper you turned twords the mother and son.
"If you dont mind me asking why are you guys so far outhere?"
"Well we came out for a few days to explore new islands. We're just taking a little break from our village, how about you?"
"Same thing as you but I dont live in a village. I just travel and explore new islands. It's our favorite thing to do than stay in one place."
"Hey, thats what Toothless and I do isn't that right bud?"
Toothless nodded his head in agreement.
"Well since you guys are exploring for a few days, I found a cave yesterday. You guys can come if you want."
"Oh dear thank you for inviting us." Valka said smiling.
"Your welcome, alright c'mon guys we should get going its getting pretty dark," you said leading the way to the cave.
