A few days later...

It was about mid-day and you and Eret had to patrol so you walked around the village until you spotted him talking to Gobber. You walked towards the forge coming into both men eye sight.

"Hey Mr.Ferret we're on patrol let's go."

"Hello lassie." Gobber smiled at you.

"Hello Gobber." You smiled back.

"Alright Im coming. Talk to you later Gobber," Eret said walking towards you.

"Okay bye you two." Gobber waved before talking to a man holding a saddle.

You than saw Midnight and Bonecrusher waiting for the both of you. You and Eret both quickly got on your dragons before taking off into the air.

"How's your shoulder?" Eret asked.

"Pretty good, it feels fine now. Im gonna have Gothi check it out today actually."

"Thats good. How did you meet Midnight if you don't mind me asking?"

"Well I met her when I was five in the woods. It was the night that changed my life. How did you meet Bonecrusher?"

"Well Bonecrusher was actually Stoick's dragon. After he passed someone needed to watch over him, so Hiccup offered me to look after this beast." He patted the side of his dragon which made him purr.

"Well that's good, at least he has a good rider thats all that matters."
You smiled.

"Ah, Im not actually good."

"Why do you say that?" You tilted your head in curiosity.

"Well I actually used to work for Drago."

"Wow I never knew that. Can you tell me if its alright?"

He hesitated for a moment before explaining that he worked for him for many years and that he had to capture dragons to build a dragon army. He also said that he was also tried to capture the gang and their dragons.

"I knew that they were good people. So after a little while I decided to help them escape, even though I was the one who set them up."

"Your not bad Eret. You saw good and you decided that you wanted to change for the better. You helped Berk defeat Drago and thats good. Your not bad anymore your good always remember that."

When he looked up at you, you had a smile so he smiled in returned.

"I guess your right, no wonder Hiccup likes you so much."

"Ah, I hear that a lot."

"Im serious, you have such a good heart. You always help others in need no matter what and you have great leadership.
You have an amazing personality
which Hiccup is attracted to. You may not believe it but its true."

You just looked up at him and gave a small smile.

"Thanks, c'mon lets head back the gang is probably waiting for us Mr. Ferret."

He just gave you a playfully glare to which you replied with chuckle. You both than flew down towards Berk and landed in front if the academy. The gang were walking out to greet you both. Eret slid down his dragon and walked towards Midnight to help you down. You took his hand and slid down off Midnight.

"Thanks," you said.

Hiccup watched and felt a burning sensation in the pit of his stomach. While the gang walked up to you both to greet
you, Valka and Hiccup stayed behind. She looked at Hiccup and chuckled softly at him. He than turned towards his mother with a slightly confused face.

"No need to be jealous son, there just friends."

Hiccup looked at her with widen eyes and his mouth slightly open.

"What...I-Im not...how did you know?"

She just laughed before replying.
"I can see it in your eyes Hic, don't worry about them they're just freinds."

"I guess your right," he sighed.

"Hiccup!" You waved him over. Him and Valka came up to you both.

"Hey guys did you see anything?" Hiccup asked.

"No everything was fine, anyway I have to go," you said.

"Where?"

"I have to go see Gothi. I want her to check out my shoulder to see if I can use it again."

"I'll go with you c'mon you don't wanna be late."

He than grabbed your hand and jogged to both your nightfuries.

"See you later guys!" you said waving to the gang.
