Chapter 46

Everyone than split going into different directions. You than walked out of sight behind the large grey building that they kept Hiccup hostage. Astrid was following behind you silently and Toothless was right by your side, waiting for the signal.

As you got behind the building you had Toothless boost you up the high wall, while Stormfly boosted up Astrid.

Once you and Astrid got up onto the tall building, you saw two large men guarding the building, and keeping an eye out over the island.

You and Astrid than hid behind a couple of barrels trying to keep out of sight.

"Okay, those are the two main guards. We need to take them out because if we don't, they could alert the others and this rescue mission could end up in a disaster," you spoke quietly to Astrid.

Astrid gave a sharp nod looking back slightly over the barrels, keeping an eye on the two men.

"Are you ready?" you asked.

"Please, I was born ready. Lets go kick some viking arse," Astrid said smiling.

You gave a smile as you got up slowly with Astrid by your side. As you both walked up to the men, you both never took your eyes off them.

Once you both were right behind the men you quickly unleashed your sword and hit the man knocking him out, as Astrid did the same with her axe.

You didn't want to kill them no matter how much you wanted to, but you just decided to knock them out for a few hours. See how nice you were? Oh so nice.

Once the men tumbled to the ground, you and Astrid whistled for your dragons.

Stormfly and Toothless than came over the wall, and onto the building. Toothless was barely able to get over the wall with Stormfly's help to which you were greatful for.

"Alright bud shoot a plasma blast," you ordered.

Toothless than shot a plasma blast up into the sky. The people on the ground looked up confused, until it dawned on them that you were all here.

As on cue the gang came bursting out of the woods.

You had the twins create a distraction while Astrid, Snotlout, Eret, and Fishlegs take them out, and destroy their fleet of ships along with Midnight. You knew she was capable of taking care of herself so she would be alright.

Astrid than gave you a nod as she swooped down helping taking out the fleet of ships. You than quickly climbed on Toothless and flew down twords the ground.

Once you entered the building quickly, everyone was outside which meant that you had enough time to get Hiccup out, before someone would notice.

"Alright Toothless can you track his scent?".

Toothless than lifted his head and sniffed the air before nodding quickly.

"Alright c'mon bud, lets go get him."

You and Toothless than took off, going through many halls twisting and turning. As you went down all the halls, you looked into each cell but found that most of them were empty.

As you both went down the last hall, you both quickly looked into each cell until you reached the last cell.

When you looked into the cell you saw an outline of a figure. As you looked closer, you realized the figure was Hiccup.

'Finally,' you thought. You than turned towards Toothless.

"Okay bud, plasma blast."

Toothless than shot down the wooden door causing it to fall with a loud 'thud'.

You and Toothless than quickly rushed inside, seeing Hiccup's wrists bounded in chains against the wall. He was crouched agaisnt the wall with his head down, with his arms hugging his knees.

You rushed over to him quickly, crouching down to his level.

"Hiccup, Hiccup look at me. I came to get you out," you spoke.

You than gently took Hiccup's face in your hands. He than opened his eyes slightly but all he was was blurry images.

Hiccup heard your voice but couldn't pin point it because your voice was faint.

"Alright Toothless shoot the chains," you ordered.

Toothless than quickly shot the chains breaking them. You than lifted Hiccup up as he got his senses back in control.

The blurry images he was seeing than became clear and his hearing also. He than saw you looking up at him with a worry look.

"You came," he said quietly.

"Of course I did. No one gets left behind."

You brought Hiccup into a hug as he wrapped his arms around you tightly.

As you two pulled apart Toothless came up and slobbered Hiccup with kisses.

Hiccup laughed softly as he greeted Toothless.

"I missed you too bud," he smiled.

"Alright Toothless get us out of here," you said.

Hiccup went to step forward but stumbled slightly. You quickly held onto his arm pulling him up.

"You can't walk you need to get on Toothless."

Hiccup nodded as you helped him get on Toothless. You than hopped in front of Hiccup as you patted Toothless head.

"Get us out of here Toothless."

He gave a nod as he quickly ran out, turning and twisting down the halls until you three made it outside.

You than whistled loudly catching the gangs attention.

"C'mon guys lets go!"

You than saw Scar trying to shoot bolas at Toothless but you and the gang were already flying out towards sea.

When you all got back and landed on Berk you heard a man shout.

"The cheif has come home!"

The whole village was cheering and hollaring for Hiccup's arrival.

Valka than came through the crowd with a smile on her face.

Hiccup than hopped off Toothless and walked towards her. She smiled as she took Hiccup in her arms in a welcoming hug.

You than got off of Toothless as you scratched behind his ears.

"You did a wonderful job," you said smiling.

Toothless purred from the complement and gave you a gummy smile before licking your cheek.

Midnight than came and nudged you making you chuckle.

"You too," you said scraching her ears.

Valka than came up to you smiling

"Thank you for bringing him home."

"No problem, I always keep my promises," you smiled.

"Wait a second, you planned to rescue me?" Hiccup asked.

"Oh she did, she planned the whole thing," Astrid said smirking as she walked up to you three.

You just shook your head smiling.

"Okay, but c'mon lets get that chain off of you," you said pointing at Hiccup's wrist.
