The next morning you woke up early and headed to the forge. You already were half way done with Hiccup's gift so you went to the forge to finish it.

As you worked Gobber came in and greeted you to which you returned. The villagers than slowly came out to do their daily jobs also.

As you finally finished making Hiccup's gift you wrapped it up on a rag and stuffed it under the weponds making sure it was out of sight. Once it was completely out of sight you walked out from the back.

Gobber was busy taking orders so you quickly and quietly left the forge. You than made your way towards the great hall giving a respectful nod towards the villagers who greeted you.

Once you opened the doors to the great hall, you walked inside seeing the gang sitting at a table.

"Morning guys!" you greeted sitting down.

"Morning [Name], where were you this morning?" Astrid asked.

"Just had to finish up a few things."

She gave a nod in understanding before Snotlout spoke up.

"Hey [Name] when do I get to have my duel?"

"Duel? What duel?" Hiccup asked sitting down at the table.

"Well when you were gone, Snotlout challenged [Name] to a duel," Astrid replied.

"Fine you want your duel Snotface? Than lets head to the academy but don't say we didn't warn you," you said heading out.

Once you all arrived at the academy you and Snotlout faced one another. Snotlout smirked as he pulled out his wepond. You gave him a stern look as you pulled your two swords from your back.

You felt so bad for him because he didn't know what he was getting himself into, but you didn't feel so bad anymore. Seriously who did he think he was Thor himself?

"Ready to be beat by a girl?" you smirked.

"Please, I'm not going to lose to a little girl like you," Snotlout replied.

'You have no idea what you're doing,' you thought. You smirked mentally knowing you were going to beat his as-

"FIGHT!" Astrid yelled.

The whole gang was standing by the wall as they watched you both.

You and Snotlout circled one another waiting for the other one to strike. Snotlout smirked as he lunged forward yelling out a battle cry. You rolled your eyes as you quickly dodged swerving behind him and kicking the back of his knees.

He was now kneeling with your two swords at eachside of his neck. His eyes widen in fear as he felt you pressing your swords to his neck.

"I win," you smirked.

You than removed your swords and walked towards where the rest of the gang was at.

"What?! Are you kidding me you had a luckly start!" Snotlout yelled.

"No she won fair and square," Fishlegs said.

"Okay, okay fine you won," Snotlout pouted crossing his arms.

"That's what I thought," you smirked.

"Alright gang who's on patrol duty?" Hiccup asked.

"[Name] and Fishlegs," Astrid replied.

"Alright we're leaving right now, don't have too much fun without us," you said waving.

"Don't worry we will!" Snotlout smiled waving.

Astrid than punched Snotlout's arm causing him to yelp in pain.

After patrol you and Fishlegs headed to the great hall. When you both arrived you didn't see Hiccup so you asked Astrid. She replied by saying that he was in the forge so you thanked her before leaving.

As you made your way to the forge you were greeted by Gobber.

"Hello lassie how's your day?"

"Pretty good actually how about you?" you asked.

"Pretty well. I've heard you beat Snotlout in a duel is that true?"

"Ah yes, that was my favorite part of my day."

You and Gobber laughed softly before you spoke up again.

"Anyway do you know where Hiccup is?"

"Oh he's in the back."

"Thanks Gobber!" you smiled.

"Anytime lassie."

When you walked in the back you saw Hiccup working on something.

"Hey Hic."

"Oh [Name]! W-what are you doing here?" he asked pushing his papers back into his journal.

"I came to find you Mr. Haddock, what are you doing?"

"Nothing much c'mon let's get out of here."

He than started to push you gently out the door careful not to hurt you.

"So did you see or find anything," Hiccup asked walking beside you.

"No we haven't found anything."

He gave a nod in understanding looking up at the sky seeing the sky getting darker.

"C'mon it's getting late, let's go home," Hiccup said as you both headed home.
