Riley's POV
Today we had a day off from The next step and I was sorting out my wardrobe.
I was taking a dress out as something fell to the ground.
I bend down and picked it up. It was James's Hoodie, he probably forgot it here before he went to California.I picked my mobile from my bedside table and searched through my contacts trying to find James's number, till I realized that I had deleted it.
"Emily", I shouted going down the stairs."Yes, what's up?", she asked while watching some fashion show on TV.
"I found James's Hoodie in my wardrobe and I wanted to call him, but I delete his number by accident, could you give it to me?", I asked her.
"Sure", she said giving me her phone, not even taking her eyes from the TV screen.
"Thanks", I said copying the number to my phone.
I placed her mobile on the couch and returned to my room.James's POV
I was dancing in A-Studio, as my phone started ringing.
I turned off the music and walked to my dance bag to pick up my phone.
As I looked at my phone screen, I saw Riley's caller-ID, it instantly plastered a smile on my face.
"Hi", I said."Hi James", she said with her sweet voice.
"What's up?", I asked her.
"I was sorting out my wardrobe and I found your green hoodie, if you want you can pick it up when you have time", She said and my smile even grew bigger, she was just so cute."Riley, you can keep it, I know you like it", I said to her.
"No, but you can pick it up now, if you want to, because I am at home", she said quickly.
"Okay, I just need some minutes, see you later", I said.
"Bye", she answered.I rang the door and waited for someone to open the door.
As the door opened Emily appeared smiling.
"Hi James, how was California?", she asked giving me a quick hug.
"Hi, warm", I answered."Riley is in her room, you can go up if you want", she said smiling to me.
"Okay", I said walking upstairs.
I walked in her room, but I think she didn't even noticedShe was sitting on her bed, having a phone call with someone.
"Yes maybe, yes okay Charlie, yes!, me too, we can meet later, okay, bye", she said smiling.
It was annoying me that she was talking with Charlie, but he was her boyfriend so I couldn't do anything."Hey Riley", I said trying to get her attention.
"Hi", she said turning around smiling.Suddenly her phone started ringing again.
"Oh sorry wait, Charlie?", she said picking up her phone.
Oh man why does he had to call her the whole time, couldn't he just let her be with me.
"Yes sure, ehm wait, James I'm just going to grab your jacket I think I laid it downstairs, yes Charlie, no I had his jacket", she explained going out of her room.I sighed, I hoped he was jealous of me.
I walked to Riley's desk and looked at a paper, it was some homework, I picked it up and accidentally let fall a paper.
I laid the homework back and bend down to pick up the paper. The paper has fell into the bin, I took it out and saw something silver in the bin.
I took it out and I couldn't believe what it was.The necklace with the lettering Jiley, that I gave her before I moved to California.
I just couldn't believe it that she threw it away.
She was over me, it was over, I was just a remembrance to her.Riley's POV
I was walking into my room as I spotted James bend down on the floor with the Jiley necklace in his hands and looking frustrated.
"James, I didn't want to throw the necklace away, I just.. I just..", I tried explaining to him."It's okay, you don't have to give any explanation, you can do whatever you want with your things", he said dejected throwing the necklace into my bin.
"James", I said.
"Thank you for the jacket", he said taking it from my arm and walking downstairs.I felt guilty so I followed him trying to keep up with his pace.
But as I walked down he wasn't there anymore.
I was so stupid. What do you thing about Riley throwing away the necklace?
