Chapter 29

Riley's POV

"Hello", I answered the phone.
"Hi Ri, I just wanted to ask you if you are feeling better?", James asked me.
"Yes, I'm going to the studio today", I answered passing the park.
"That's good, do you want me to pick you up?", he asked me.
"No thanks, I'm already on my way", I said.

"OK, see you later", he said.
"Bye", I said hanging up.

I was walking to Studio-A as I saw Charlie and stopped.
"Hi, Riley I didn't saw you yesterday", he said to me.
"Yes, I was ill", I told him smiling and pecking him on the cheek.

"You were ill, but why didn't you told me?", he asked preoccupied.
"It was just a cold, I didn't want to preoccupied you", I explained him taking his hand.
"You should have told me", he said sad kissing my hand.
"I do it next time", I affirmed him.
He nodded and smiled.

James's POV

I saw Riley sitting on the bench in A-Studio probably waiting for rehearsal to start.
"Hi Ri", I greeted her walking up to her.
"Hi", she greeted me back and I sat next to her on the bench.
"So how are you feeling?", I asked her.
"Much better than yesterday", she answered smiling.
"That's good", I added.

"Thank you for being there for me yesterday", she said ashamed.
Probably about what happened yesterday at hers, but she hadn't to be ashamed of that.
"No problem", I said taking her hand.
It wasn't on propose it was just a reflex that I had, when I saw Riley in these kinds of situations.

She looked surprise to our hands and looked up locking eyes with mine.
My heart started racing in my chest, it was such a good feeling, that Riley didn't take her hand away from mine.
After some time she shook her head taking her hand from under mine.

But I had to stay positive at least she didn't take it away immediately.
After some minutes of silence and looking at the floor the rest of A-Troupe made their way inside to start rehearsal.

A little chapter, but at least a chapter.
I haven't had much time this week, but I decided to take some to write this chapter for you all, so I hope that you enjoy it.
