Chapter 39

Riley's POV

I waked up and James was already laying on his side watching me smiling.
"How long are you watching me?", I asked yawning.
He tucked a loose strand of hair behind my ear and smiled.
"About twenty minutes", he answered softly kissing my lips.
I instantly felt the butterflies in my stomach.
We parted our lips and smiled at each other.

"We should probably get up, although I don't really want to face the others right now", I said, slowly standing up and walking to the wardrobe.
"Then let's stay here", he said whining, whilst watching me.
"No, we can't they are waiting for us, so stand up and get in your room, I meet you downstairs", I answered.
"Okay, I'm already standing up", he said standing up and kissing me, before going to his room.

After ten minutes I walked downstairs, where James was already waiting for me.
"Hey", he said kissing me on my lips.
"Don't kiss me here, someone could see and I don't want them all to know now, I rather want to wait a little", I told him.
We walked to the through the living room to the kitchen.
"I'm sorry babe, but I missed your lips", he explained, I had to smile after that comment.

"Riley, James, good that you are here, I have an announcement to make", Miss Kate greeted us, as we entered the kitchen.

"I still can't believe what you girls have done yesterday, I never thought that you could do such a terrible thing.
So I decided that we are going to return home, because I can't permit something so stupid.
This is not going to be your punishment, because we are all going home, but I hope that you five are feeling guilty, you ruined our trip.
I thought that we could have a fun time, but I guess you want to go home so congratulations, we are going after the breakfast", she told us.
I was relieved to go home.

James's POV

I was disappointed that we were going home, but at the same time I was relieved that we were going to have no drama anymore.
"Who were you talking to?", I asked Eldon, who was entering West and my room.
"To Thalia", he answered sitting on my bed.
Thalia stayed at home, because she got sick before we came here and Eldon was really worried about her.
"Let's go", I said taking my suitcase and leaving the room with Eldon.

"Go ahead, I come in a few seconds", I told Eldon.
I waited till he left the hallway and quietly opened the door of the room Riley was in.
She was in front of the mirror not noticing that I entered I walked on the side and quickly laid my arms around her waist.

"Hey Princess", I greeted her.
"Hi", she answered resting her arms on my.
She smiled and I had to smile too.
"Are we going?", I asked her kissing her temple.
"Yes, let's go"
I took her suitcase and we exited her room.

Riley's POV

James and I were sitting at the back on the bus on propose.
We wanted to have some peace and silence, because the others were complaining the whole time about going home.
I had my head rested on James's shoulder and he was kissing me every now and then my forehead.
I was really enjoying this moment just as two together, but on the other hand I was really feeling bad, because I was cheating on Charlie.
He had always been so kind and caring and he didn't deserve, what I was doing to him.

"What are you worrying about?", James asked me resting his chin carefully on my head.
"It sounds stupid but, I'm worrying about breaking up with Charlie", I explained to him slowly taking his hand and playing with his fingers.
"You should not worry about that, If you want I can come with you", he proposed to me.
"No, no and definitely no, it's already hard to break up with him, let's not make it worse, than it is", I disagreed with his stupid idea.

"Guys, I don't want to interrupt you, but I wanted to apologize about what I made yesterday", suddenly Michelle said appearing next to me.
"Disappear", James said angrily taking his chin and his hand from me.
First I wanted to say no, but after thinking a second, I decided that I wasn't ready to accept her apology now.
She looked sad at me and walked back to her seat.

After some time James fell asleep, I watched him and had to smile, he just looked so cute, when he was asleep.
Suddenly his mobile became a text, I took it and read it, I knew that James hadn't something against me looking.

(James and Deborah texting)

Mum: James, I heard that you are coming home today, hope you had a good trip, I'm at aunt Cathy and only return home at nine, dinner will be in the oven and Piper is staying at her friends house, don't forget to start packing your suitcase.
Remember we're leaving in a week.

See you Mom

What he was leaving in a week?
That was too soon, I couldn't let him go now that we were back together, I couldn't get through this again and maybe he would not return this time.
I laid his phone back in his jeans pocket and looked at him, a tear started flowing over my cheek.

"Hey Ri, why are you crying?", James asked waking up.
I quickly wiped the tear away and he laid his arm around me kissing my forehead.
"Babe, what's going on?", he asked me looking preoccupied.
"Nothing", I answered resting my head on his chest.
"Riley, you can trust me", he said making me feel guilty.
"Your mom wrote you a text, you are returning to California in one week", I said silently crying.

"Oh baby, I'm going but I'm returning", he said.
"No", I said angrily getting out of his arms.
"You are not and I don't want to wait for you, this was a mistake, this should have never happened", I disagreed with him standing up and walking along the corridor of the bus.

"Riley", he called me grabbing my wrist.
"Let me go James, please, don't make me suffer, I want to continue my life without drama, I want to be happy, don't you get it?", I yelled getting the whole attention of A-Troupe and Miss Kate.
He loosened his grip and nodded.
"You are right, I want you to be happy, I'm gonna let you go", he said looking sad and walking back to the seat we were sitting a while ago, when we weren't worrying about the future, when we were just Jiley.

But I knew it was the right thing to let him go, I had to if I wanted to be happy.

I know you guys are probably going to hate me for this chapter, but I had to do it.
