Chapter 26

Riley's POV

"Maybe this way", I said to James coming around him from the right side.
"Yes you're right, it's better on the right side", he agreed to me.

He turned around to me and just stood there smiling awkwardly at me.
"What?", I asked smiling too.
"Nothing, I just missed you", he told me .
After that I just had to hug him.

James's POV

Suddenly Riley hugged me.
I quickly rested my arms around her back.
These moments just passed by to quickly.
Why couldn't they last forever.
"So, enough hugging, let's go back to work", Riley said ending our hug.
Nothing lasts forever, hopefully Riley's relationship with Charlie too.

Thalia's POV (special)

"Why aren't you and James talking anymore, I saw him looking at you as if he wanted to kill you yesterday?!", I asked Eldon.
We were sitting in Hidalgos drinking juice and chatting about random things.

"I told him that Riley wasn't an angel and he punched me", he told me as if it was the most normal thing, that his best friend punched him in the face.
"What?, why did you said that?"

"Because Riley shouldn't have threatened you that way", he answered taking a sip from his juice.
"Nevertheless you shouldn't have said that about Riley, you know how much James loves her", I explained him.
"I know", he told me.

I looked to the entrance and saw James and Riley walking in, talking.
"Maybe we should go", I proposed to Eldon.
"Why?", he asked confused still not noticing that James was here.
I pointed to James, who was ordering something at the counter.
"Oh, yes that's probably a good idea", he agreed to me standing up.

Riley looked to our side and saw us, she quickly tried distracting James, so we could leave without a fight.
But he noticed anyway and came to us.
That would not end good.

Riley's POV

"James", I said holding him back.
"Don't worry I am just going to go talk with him", he informed me.
I let go of his hand, I wasn't so sure about the talking he wanted to do with him.

"Eldon, wait I want to talk to you!", he called.
He walked over to where Thalia and Eldon were standing.
"But I don't want to talk to you", he replied turning around and dragging Thalia with him out of Hidalgos.
James looked angry to the exit of Hidalgos.
I just hold his arm, making sure that he wouldn't go after him.
