7| Sorry?

~Stephanie~

As I was walking, my phone vibrated in my blazer pocket. Luke's name popped up on the screen and my eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

I just gave him my number the other day when he gave me a lift home and I didn't think he would actually use it.

Luke- Wanna hang out with me and the guys?

I bit down on my bottom lip as I type in a reply.

Me- Ummm sure

Me- But you'll have to come over to my friend's house

Luke- Ok sure

Me- Want to know where my friend lives?...

Luke- No need

Me- What do you mean by 'no need'

"Shit," I cursed under my breath as I stubbed my toe on a drain and stumbled slightly.

Me- Damn you Hemmings

Luke- It was kinda funny

Me- How do you know what just happened?

I tore my gaze off my phone an looked around, searching for a blonde quiff. My gaze landed on a black SUV that was parked on the other side if the road.

A boy with curly hair and dimples poked his head out the window. "Stephanie!" Ashton shouted over the whizzing of the cars.

"Hey!" I shouted back at him. There were a few curious glances from people walking by. Ashton ushered me to come to the car and I followed his instructions.

I waited for the cars to stop driving by so that I could cross. But noooooo, there just so happens to be millions of cars coming out of nowhere. I saw a small gap for me to cross the road. I crossed.

Beeeeep.

Shit, I didn't look at the other side of the road.

The driver gave me a glare as I passed their car, walking slower than usual just to annoy them for beeping me. I walked towards the black SUV that's parked on a double yellow line as I rolled my eyes at the four boys laughing their heads off inside.

"I told you to come here; not to try get yourself killed along the way here," Ashton giggled.

That giggle will be the death of me.

"The way you slowed down when you walked in front of the car that beeped at you," Michael laughed hysterically.

Everyone burst out laughing and as the laughing died down Luke spoke up, "So are you gonna get in the car or not?"

I shrugged, opening the backdoor. As the door swung open it hit someone riding a bike.

I stood there, staring at the person I just bashed with a door. They were lying on the ground, bike on top of them. A guy with blonde hair and brown eyes stared back at me. Joe.

"Sorry?" I say more like a question than an answer.

"It's fine," he grumbled, standing up.

I stood there awkwardly as he fixed himself up and after a while of staring I realised that I looked kind of creepy, so I hopped into the car and shut the door behind me. Laughter filled my ears as the car's engine turned on, heading for my friend's house.

"Did you just hit that guy with the car door?!" Calum asked from the driver seat, trying to stop himself from laughing.

"No, Calum. I gave him a freaking bear-hug," I snapped.

"You didn't even appologise properly," Luke added.

"Meh," I shrugged, not bothered to say anything about apologies.

"Turn right here," I told Calum. We ended up looking for an empty space for 10 minutes. I really hate finding spaces to park.

Finally, after what felt like a century, I knocked on my friend's door. The old, worn down door opened, revealing a boy with raven-black hair and adorable puppy eyes.

"Hey Lewis," I greeted the young boy, ruffllng his hair. "Where's your brother."

"He's upstairs," Lewis mumbled, shying away from the four unknown boys behind me.

I nodded, stepping inside the house, the guys following just behind me as I guided them up the stairs towards Charlie's room.

"Hey, Charlie," I sighed, bursting into his room.

My eyes landed on a boy who looked like a deer caught in headlights. But, a deer without any clothes on...
