~Stephanie~

Its been a week since that camping trip from hell and Calum's been acting kind of distant lately.

Yes, we're both basically living in the same house but he's been locking himself up in his room to probably avoid me.

No matter how many times I've wanted to just talk to him and ask him what's wrong, I won't. I don't want to seem like a bother.

We also haven't been on that date Calum asked me on, but I guess he just forgot or didn't want to go.

There's a soft knock on my door, along with that familiar voice I haven't heard in a week. "Hey, Stephanie, can I come in?"

"Come in," I tell him, slightly uncomfortable because we haven't talked in a while.

"I've got a serious question to ask you," he says in his serious tone, a dark look on his face.

I nod my head to tell him to go on.

He takes a deep breath. "Why did you lie to me?"

I'm slightly taken aback by his question.

What is he even talking about?

Calum must have seen my confused look because he makes it clearer for me.

"Why did you lie about Megan?" He asks in a desperate tone.

I lied about Megan? What the hell is he talking about?

"I didn't lie about Megan?" I say hesitantly, the statement coming out as a question.

"Yes," he says in a hard voice, "you did."

You can see the anger in his eyes as he stares at me accusingly.

I was hurt.

I bet Megan told him a lie and he believed her. Typic Megan. She's so innocent looking that everyone believes her.

"What did I lie about now?" I ask, trying to keep any feelings out of my voice.

"She said that you forced her to kill Dan, and if she didn't, she said that you threatened her to kill her family," Calum replied angrily, his face turning a deep shade of red.

What the fuck?!

I'm not surprised that that came out of Megan's mouth, but the fact that Calum believed her over me just hurt.

"Get out," I say in a monotone voice, pointing towards the door.

"What?!" Calum shouts in disbelief.

"Get out of this house and don't even think of speaking to me," I say in the same monotone voice as before.

To him, I might sound like a lifeless robot, but inside, I can feel the anger, hurt, and sadness swarming me.

"What the fuck, Steph!" Calum screams at me, hurt evident in his eyes.

Why the hell are you over there looking hurt when you're the one who fucking accused me that I threatened to kill Megan's family and forced her kill Dan?!

"Go stay at Megan's," I tell him in a flat voice. "Now pack up your things and get the fuck out of this house."

Calum stomps out of my room, across the hall and towards his room and I instantly hear wardrobes and drawers opening and closing.

I close my door slowly and collapse onto my bed crying, the pillows muffling my sobs.

A few minutes later I hear the door slam shut and the sound of footsteps walking away from the house.
