"Bye! I'm going out," Nat said kissing me on the cheek and quickly turning away.
I grabbed her arm and held her in place. "Where are you going? This is the fourth time this week you've been 'going out'. With who and where?"
"It's nothing important."
"Nothing important won't work anymore Nat! I want an explanation!"
"You never give me one! And don't act like you don't know what I'm talking about! I know you've been sneaking out at night when you think that I'm asleep!"
"I'm a grown man Nat! Not a 15 year old girl! And I know how to defend myself if I have to! You don't! And for the record, you're not going anywhere tonight!" I walked over to the door and stood in front of it, blocking her exit.
"You are not my father, and you're not even my real brother! What gives you the right to try to keep me prisoner here?"
It felt like I got shot all over again. "Fine. Get out." I opened the door stepping aside.
"Bug-"
"No! As I recall, I'm not your brother remember. Yeah, you said that just a few seconds ago. And only the girl that never lied to me or tried to keep secrets from me is my sister, so your right I'm not your brother. If you do see her tell her she's more than welcome to come back. If not you can buy a plane ticket back to Canada."
I went down stairs to my training room and locked the door behind me. I did owe her an explanation for me slipping out at night, but what was I going to tell her? That I was sexually frustrated and screwing around with different women every night? That was being sued for "malpractice" and seducing my "students" just because one of women got offended. Something told me that that was the last thing she needed to hear.
I sat against the door resting my arms on my knees. And thought about what I just said to her. Maybe I shouldn't have been so harsh. I quickly stood and opened the door, but Nat was gone. I checked all over the house for her. Nothing.
I tried calling, and it went straight to voicemail. "Nat, I'm sorry. I didn't mean that. It's just that I've been under a lot of stress lately and there's a lot going on that you don't know about, and I'm just too afraid to tell you. I'm sorry." I hung up the phone waiting for her to call me back, but she never did.
I called Michael and thank god he answered.
"I need a big favor from you," I said into the phone will putting on shoes and grabbing my keys.
"Sure thing."
"Are you still into the hacking business?"
"Once a hacker always a hacker. Why what do you need? I mean I'm good but I'm not breaking-into-government-system-undetected good."
"You don't have to be. All I need you to do is track a phone for me."
"Oh, that I can do easy."
"Thanks I'll see you in a few." I hung up and got into my Ashton Martin and drove to his apartment building as fast as I could.
Once I arrived, I quickly typed in the passcode and got inside. The elevator was open and ready, so I stepped inside and pressed the fourth floor button.
"Hey! Hold the elevator!" A guy cried out.
Instinctively my hand shot out stopping the doors from closing, and I wished I hadn't. The man was with Emeri.
"Toni, how are you? I haven't seen you since the cook out," she said trying to make light conversation.
I just nodded. I didn't want to be here. Trapped inside of an small space with her and her boyfriend, and he was making it so clear with his hands traveling up and down the bare flesh of her sides. Does the woman not own a full sized shirt?
"Is everything okay?" She asked stepping closer to me, and I involuntarily shrank away.
"Look there's a lot going on, and I prefer not to talk about it." The words came out harsher than expected.
"I'm willing to help-"
"If I get hurt, I'll be sure to call 911," the elevator door opened just in time and I stormed out to Michael's room. I banged on the door a few times and waited.
That's when I noticed Emeri and her boyfriend were following me, but they kept going a few doors down and across the hall. I could hear them kissing, so I continued to pound my first into the door.
"You can stop now," Michael said pulling it open. I stepped inside and shut the door. "What phone am I tracing?"
"Nat's. We got into a fight, and she left. I need to find her."
Michael walked over to his custom made desktop computer and began typing what seemed like random numbers and letters. After a while he asked me for Nat's number, and I gave it to him. Minutes later a map of the city showed on the screen along with a green dot. The map continued to zoom in on the dot until it gave me a picture of a worn out cabin that was practically in the woods and an address.
With my keys in hand I started running for my car. Something about it didn't seem right. Why would she be in the middle of the woods in an abandoned cabin? I know what I said was crude, but she would never go somewhere like that voluntarily.
I was flooring the gas pedal and weaving in and out of traffic. I was just happy that there were no cops around to stop me because I was doing 100mph on a 40mph road. I followed my gps, and it took me down a dirt road for fifteen minutes only to lead me to an open space with a beaten Honda Civic.
I got out of the car cursing, but that's when I saw a small path leading deeper into the woods. I followed it running, and came to the cabin.
Nat was screaming. I kicked the door in.

"Antonio! STOP YOU'RE KILLING HIM!"
It was like I suddenly woke up. I was on top of some guy I didn't even recognize. His face swollen, bruised, bloody, and beaten. My knuckles were purple and covered in blood.
"Antonio, let's get out of here," Nat pleaded grabbing my arm and pulling me up.
I blacked out. I couldn't remember doing this. I couldn't even remember walking into the room. The lasting I recalled was seeing, was Nat pinned to the couch with her clothes torn and that monster between her legs.
I quickly wiped my hands off on the other guy's shirt and took mine off giving it to Nat to cover herself with. My eyes caught the glimpse of blood between her legs.
I fell to my knees and cried.
