"Knock knock," I said poking my head through the door and smiled as I saw my mother sitting at the vanity with Feo doing her hair.

"You look beautiful." I walked into the room shutting the door behind me and made my way to Feo wrapping an arm around her waist.

She was putting final curls in my mother's hair. "Done!" She turned my mother around to look in the mirror. "Now it's time for the finishing touch." She took a hairpin with a white flower and pearl beaded net and clipped it in.

"Thank you, Feo." My mother stood and hugged her tightly. As I looked between the two women, I felt nostalgic. I was able to watch the relationship of the two women that meant the world to me blossom.

"Now if you'll excuse me the pregnant lady has to go pee." I laughed as my mother rushed to the restroom.

Feo walked over to the window and looked out over the courtyard. I took the moment to study her. She looked beautiful in her turquoise dress and her hair pinned back. I walked over and stood at the other side of the window.

"You look so beautiful."

A gorgeous smile spread across her face

A gorgeous smile spread across her face. "Thank you. You don't look half bad yourself." She straightened my bow tie and stepped closer.

I took her hands in mine and pulled her closer. "I love you."

"I love you too," she said before placing a light kiss on my lips.

"Toni, I don't know how I could ever repay you. I mean... An all expenses paid trip to Rome and Paris? That's not your average wedding gift."

"Shannon, it's no big deal. Plus Jared pitched in so it wasn't all me."

I looked at him skeptically. There was no way he could book the honeymoon suit for Jen and I at the Intercontinental hotels in both Paris and Rome.

"It's true, Jared gave me some cash to pay for the airline tickets."

"That's not what I'm talking about. What I mean is that you booked us rooms at the most sought after hotel chain in the world and on such a short notice. Who are you sleeping with to get such a deal?"

"Look Shannon if you don't want it-"

"It's not that either."

"Look just be happy, and don't worry about it." Antoni straightened his cuffs in his dark gray suit.

"Thank you," I said placing a hand on his shoulder.

"Don't mention it." He smiled, but it didn't reach his eyes. Something was different about him lately. He's been more withdrawn and for-lack-of-a-better-word spacey. At the rehearsal dinner, it was like he was anywhere but the real world.

I didn't have time to talk about it. It was almost 3:00 and we needed to get down to the alter.

Once I was there, I began to feel slightly nervous. There were a lot more people here than I thought there would be including Macy and Moxxi who I until recently didn't know they were related. No one knew until Macy was called after they discovered Moxxi was trapped in the basement of that cabin. To be frank I was surprised that Jen invited her.

I continued to scan the crowd, and I saw a pear of eyes that I hadn't seen in 18 years. Jen's mom. It was strange because even back then I had only met her once, but I would never forget the day that she called me the devil and threw holy water on me. I never went back after that.

I was snapped out of my thoughts as the wedding march began to play. I took a deep breath and watched as my beautiful bride emerged.

I sat watching everyone have a good time dancing to the amazing mix of Clarity by Foxes, Stay the Night by Zedd and Alive by Krewella. I looked over to the Dj stand and was surprised when I saw Antonio standing there with one of his friends.

I would think that it was his friend that was the Dj, but Antonio was the one that was adjusting the nobs and wearing headphones.

Is there anything he can't do? I thought to myself. I continued to watch him as he pulled a bottle of vodka from under the table and downed half of it at once. His friend said something to him and jabbed his thumb in my direction. Antonio shrugged it off and took another drink of alcohol.

I stood and making my way toward them when I was stopped by his sister Natasha.

"Dr. Bennett! How are you?" She smiled at me and took my arm guiding me away.

"I'm great-"

"Good! Can I ask you something?"

"Is it a medical problem?"

"Well kinda. I need advice. My periods are irregular, and it just started happening. For a few months now my periods would last different lengths and vary in heaviness, so I was wondering what to do."

"Well I would try getting birth control." When she didn't respond I started toward Antonio again.

"But I've never taken birth control before," Natasha said pulling me back to her.

"How much is he paying you?"

"What are you talking about?"

"How much is he paying you to keep me away from him?"

Natasha's face quickly grew serious. "He's not. I just think it's best for you to just steer clear of him for now."

"Why?"

"Because he's a mess that's why. Not only that but he's on his second bottle," the girl said nodding back over to her brother, and she was right he was holding a different vodka bottle and chugging it down.

"I'm a doctor. Problem solving is what I do," I said before walking to the Dj stand.

Today couldn't be more perfect. I'm finally married to the man I love, and my son his happy.

Shannon squeezed my hand and smiled down at me. I rested against him. Even though things haven't really changed, it felt different. I could officially say that I belonged to him and he belonged to me.

"Hey everyone, can I get your attention please?" I looked up and Gunnar standing on the stage with his acoustic guitar in his back. "First I want to say thanks to everyone who came to support the Union of my mother and father. It's about time right?" Every laughed. "But seriously I couldn't be happier, and in light of that I will perform a song to show my love, my gratitude, and my support."

Gunnar smiled at me before placing the mic back in the stand and lowering it down to his sitting height as he sat on a stool.
