Again With The "Failure"

A/N: Hey Guys.

So I wrote this poem after getting yelled at again about not studying for exams when they are months away. The words thrown at me make me feel like a failure, like I'm worthless, like it's the truth. And I can't seem to shake any of it away but believe it.

P.S: I apologize for the long wait, I've been writing some new poems for the last few days and I've been struggling with choosing the right poem to post.

There you go with your words,

Almost telling me I'm a failure,

Doubting me, hurting my feelings, making me feel worthless,

Is that your idea of making your daughter feel better?,

I'm not one for shouting, or negativity and pushing down,

Your vile tongue contains all kinds of poison,

So when I feel like smiling,

You draw that sad frown upon my face,

Making me just want to cry,

You know I'm a believer of tough, false lies,

Only seeing the truth when I'm willing to see,

That what I've been told is a pack of untrue fabrication,

Worsening any sort of situation.
