A/N: Hey Guys.
So it has been kind of a while since I've posted a poem on here, I have a new piece I would like you guys to read and get the message because it is so important.
Has anyone one of you been judged by society? Has anyone told you that you do not look the part and should do something about it? By....I don't know, lose weight and wear make up or put on some weight because they say you look 'skinny' which means...ANOREXIC!
WHAT IS WRONG WITH TODAY'S SOCIETY?
I hope you guys like the poem, if you do then please don't forget to VOTE & COMMENT! :)

Long, curly hair,
Skin flawless and tanned,
With no marks covering her body,
Her skin just full of color,
Thin frame so beautiful and fair.
Baring it all will hurt
The eyes of the insecure one,
With too many flaws and list-long insecurities,
That's why she covers up her natural beauty,
Wearing make up she does not need,
Listening to every word she hears,
The liars, they are her enemies,
Pure empty words, they feed.
She cries all day long,
Looking in the mirror,
To see pale skin, muscly legs, round stomach,
The image she sees, she hates,
Jar full of tears,
An ocean long waterfall,
Comes down her face, like never before,
She hides in an empty room,
She wants to feel nothing,
Cover up the truth she is not ready to reveal,
'Pain' written perfectly over her heart,
She's broken and ready to give up,
Today that is the society's art.
Judgement and no knowledge of what is the real truth,
Blindness caused by those who have said true beauty is 'perfection',
Eating too much, you're fat, wearing tons of make up, you're fake,
Stand up and Speak up for Goodness' sake!
