Hey Guys.
This is a new poem and I wrote it yesterday evening. The poem just kind of formed in my head, I didn't really have any ideas. I didn't brainstorm it either, that's the beauty of being a poet. Your brain just puts the words together and then your fingers make them flow.

I'm lost and unprepared,
For my heart to feel love,
Only seventeen years old,
With my back to the door,
I whisper "I want more."
I know nothing of love,
My mind acknowledges infatuation,
The flutter of the heart,
Beat like a drum, only faster,
Blood boiling under my skin,
Sweat forming on nervous hands,
Twist of the tongue, unable to speak,
Trying to hold my ground,
Before my knees go weak and force me to collapse,
I'm left to be lost,
In the middle of the sea,
Raging waves hitting the rocks,
Like there is no tomorrow,
Found myself stranded, no-one comes to save me,
In the middle of nowhere,
Someday, I hope I'll will be found.
