A/N: Hey Guys.
This is a new poem I wrote yesterday after looking back at some old photos. It made me feel so nostalgic and a little bit emotional. Seeing photos of little me, my brother when he was a kid or my mum when she was a child. It's amazing and yet sad at how fast the time goes.
I was thinking of attaching Kelly Clarkson's song "Nostalgic" but it didn't feel relevant...lyric wise. Instead "7 Years" seemed more appropriate, lyric and mood wise.
I hope you guys like the poem, if you do then please don't forget to VOTE & COMMENT! :)

Those black and white, golden days
Are long gone, but the still images
I safely keep in a see through sheet,
I miss my grandparents, great grandparents,
Being innocent is just
An old memory, forgotten
Within the labyrinth of time,
In the middle is the prize,
The brain with visions
No-one can come back to,
Not through a pensieve,
A time machine, looking at those crinkled,
Old photographs that remind you
Of the joy the child version of you felt,
The ray of the sun would melt.
Through the skin, those days would sink,
Now I'm left to feel nostalgic,
Please can I recreate my childhood
Through black and rainbow ink?
