This is a new poem I wrote after getting inspired by Meghan Trainor's song "Kindly Calm Me Down" which is a beautiful and an emotional song. The song is a personal favorite of mine.

Please will you be my blanket
For when my heart feels naked?,
Will you kiss my head, when it pounds?,
Also, could you kindly calm me down?,
Surround my cold bones,
Sit with me, when I feel so alone,
If my heart's not pure
Will you kill my disease?,
There is only one cure,
I need it, the medication is you,
I'm desperate for warmth,
May I use you as a pillow?,
I'll gladly take it,
Soft and comforting,
I'll take great pleasure,
In feeling your love.
