A/N: Hello Everyone.
This is a new poem I wrote after getting inspired by the song "Bacon" by Nick Jonas. It's a song about getting out of a relationship and choosing food over a lover/partner. Plus I love bacon....cuz who doesn't?

I love the late nights,
Doing whatever I like,
There ain't drama in my life,
No ties to keep me attached to anyone,
My heart isn't for sale right now,
The pieces haven't been put together,
No fire to mold the pieces into one,
One thing I love more
Than being with you
Is spending the hours alone,
Piling my thoughts and making up my mind,
About what it is I'm looking for,
Throw some bacon on it,
I'm satisfied, sizzling hot, yeah it's the life,
The crunch and saltiness, I crave,
Sorry if you come too late,
There won't be any left-overs to save.
