A/N: Hey Guys.
This is a new poem I wrote yesterday after listening to Amir's "J'ai Cherché" which in English means "Looking For You". The song means a lot to me so that is why I used it as my inspiration.

You're the one who's making me strong,
I'll be looking, looking for you,
Like the melody of my song.
Thank you, for teaching me to stand on my feet
So proud and tall,
I was too weak before, I didn't know the truth,
Your honesty has shown me, I should've known all along.
The truth was like a star, guiding me home,
Taking me to the place where I truly belong.
Suddenly, my existence has sense,
I have almost lost my innocence in doing so,
I finished rebuilding my heart without defense,
Love and recognition I sought for,
I have paid with silence,
I've broken free, you gave me the need to be myself,
You've given me the sense to all my why's,
I can feel no more fear, especially when I'm in your arms,
Sleeping there, while you hold me all night long,
In peace and quiet, there's no demons or bad dreams,
My eyes kept shut, I slip into nothingness,
Thank you, for fighting all that is wrong.
