Calum had the worst stage fright ever since he was younger. It affected him daily, especially since he wanted to be a musician. He hated that he wasn't brave enough. His escape was YouTube. It was his loophole. He was completely hidden from the world, earning him the nickname Anonymous on his CoversByC YouTube channel. It was simple. He sang to the camera and the fans couldn't see him. He had a large following, about six hundred thousand, and not a single soul knew it was him. He was too afraid.
Calum never thought he'd truly get far with his music and would spend the rest of his life working In N' Out shifts and singing to a wall in his practically empty apartment. He was totally fine with that as well. He'd get paid from YouTube and he'd get paid by his restaurant job and it was enough to get by. He was totally fine with being hidden and not having to exploit his stage fright.
That was, of course, until a certain Michael Clifford stumbled across one of his videos and would stop at nothing to find out who he was.
