"Nothing happened back there, Castle." I retorted turning away from him.

"Beckett, you burst into tears, and from my experience that isn't nothing."

"Just drop it."

"Open up to me. I want to be in a relationship with you, but if you keep lying to me, I don't know if I want too."

"What?" For yet another time I felt my stomach drop and the emptiness once again fill me. Tears threatened my eyes, but not yet fell.

"Tell me what's wrong."

"Castle-"

"I want to help you. Before the crash you were drinking and starving yourself. Just tell me why, I can't be with you if you keep lying to me. You build up this wall, to make it that you're the only one inside. I can't take it anymore knowing that you're not happy with who you are."

"Please don't leave me."

"Then talk to me Kate. Tell me everything."

"But I can't."

"Why?"

"Rick I love you, to death. And I just can't explain to you the pain I feel, I'm done running, but not hiding. You make me feel safe and that's what's goi g to urge me into the light. You're the best thing that's ever happened to me and I hope you know that, but you have to trust me in knowing that I need time. Eventually you'll know everything, and I'll be fine with that, ok?"

"Always." It was a simple reply but it carried so much meaning along with it. I knew Rick wouldn't leave, but everyone gets that little doubt. For now it was ok, we then got into the car and drove home. The whole ride there Rick's hand held onto mine, he rubbed small circles on the back of my hands. I knew we were going to his loft and not my apartment. I didn't care though. We got home at around 5:30 and I was hungry and tired. I wasn't used to this much exercise since after the crash. Castle had opened up my car door and helped me out. We walked through the lobby doors and got into the elevator.

I let out a sigh when the elevator doors opened and started to walk out. Of course with my cop training I went first and started to get dizzy. I tried my best to shake the feeling. My eyes began to shut from the weight of the day. I stumbled over my own feet and caught myself before making in visible to Castle. But being Castle he noticed anyways. Soon I felt my legs stop working and the weight being lifted. I tilted my head back and saw Rick licking me up and carrying me done the hallway. I closed my eyes for the short journey and enjoyed feeling the gentle sensations of Rick's minty breathe floating down to my neck.

I heard the clock of the hinges and felt the breeze when the door was opened. Castle walked carefully over to the bedroom and laid me down in it. It was only then that I opened my eyes to see his crystal blue ones staring back at me. I just basted in the love that I saw in them. I couldn't help but feel safe.

He took off my shoes, and blazer. He took of my pants and handed me a pair of Alexis' yoga pants. I got them on and then laid back down.

Castle then covered me up and kissed my forehead. He then turned out the lights and began closing the door when I interrupted.

"Castle?"

"Yeah?" He replied, concern plastered onto his face.

"Can you lay down with me? Just until I fall asleep."

"Of course, anything for you." He smiled at me and then closed the door. He took off his shirt and pants and crawled in next to me. I scooted towards him and felt his arms wrap around me.  I melted into him and relaxed, and drifted off to sleep.

When I woke I felt refreshed. I fluttered my eyes open and breathed in the cologne of Rick. I never wanted this moment to end. My ribs began to scream for relief and I needed to switch the position in which I was laying. So I began to turn over when Castle groaned, signaling to me that he was waking up.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you up." I whispered giggling at his messy hair.

"You didn't wake me up." He stated clearing in his throat.

"Well I'm still-" I was cut off my the opening and closing of the loft door followed by the conversation of two women who I presumed to be Martha and Alexis.

"They're back already?" Castle said sitting up.

"They don't know about us, what will they think? Do they know about the accident?"

"They'll be thrilled, and no they don't know about the accident they were on a spa getaway, have you heard of the serenity?"

"Rick, what if-"

"Dad, we're home! Are you-" Alexis wandered into the bedroom and stopped when she saw me in bed with her dad.

"Alexis," I began-

"No!" She Alexis scolded, "get out of my house! My dad doesn't need you to play with his heart, only to break it!"

"Alexis, that's not my-"

"Get out! No one wants you here. Maybe my dad just feels bad for you, but I don't, so leave."

My cheeks began to get wet as tears streamed from my eyes. I struggled to get up. Alexis was making it evident that she wanted nothing to do with me. I started to walk towards the door when I felt my knee buckle. I managed to get back up without the aid of anyone else and continued through the pain of my tugging scars. The one that hurt the most was from the surgery on the right side of my stomach. But I needed to get out of that loft as fast as I could. I made it to the living room and avoided Martha's 20 questions for me on why I was in the house. I felt Castle grab my wrist. He turned me toward himself and said,

"Beckett, don't go."

"Rick," I choked out, "Alexis doesn't want me in your life, and the last thing I want to do is break up the relationship that you two have, so I'll go."

"But you don't have a car, and your surgery was just a few weeks ago, you're not fully healed and-"

"I don't care, I'm going home. I'll catch a taxi."

"You can't trust those people. Let me drive you home."

"No. I'm fine."

SO SORRY for not updating but I'm not in the best place right now so I haven't had time but I'll try my hardest to keep updating in a reasonable span.
