When Headmistress Robichaux arrived there was only 2 minutes left in the time window she gave. She arrived wearing black slacks and a blue button down shirt with a fur coat over. Rick leaned in next Beckett and whispered in her ear,

"She looks like a stone cold bitch." Kate slightly giggled and whispered back.

"That's what I was just thinking, I wonder how many animals she killed to get that coat."

Both Castle and Beckett burst out laughing and Miss Robichaux walked up with a smug look on her face.

"What is so funny children." She spottily said and Rick and Kate stopped laughing. Kate then asked,

"Did you just call us children?" She slightly chuckled.

"Indeed I did my child."

"Yeah, why?"

"You informed me that I needed to come down and answer some questions about my dear Zoe, or Zoey as I call her. So let's get to that."

"Ok, Miss Robichaux-" Kate tried to begin.

""Headmistress deary." Headmistress Robichaux corrected.

"Sure, did you know if anyone in the orphanage that would want to harm Zoe? Any times she seemed to have a mood change, any signs of depression, a thing like that?"

"Zoey was a bright soon to be star. She knew just what to say at the exact time. Though she did have a close net circle of friends. Lana Winters, Madison Montgomery, Addy Langdon, Tate Langdon, and Cordelia Winters. You know one of my other 'children' Jojo kind of looked like you."

"What do you mean looked?"

"Look detective is there anything else I can help you with?"

"Actually yes. Your alibi, where were you between let's say 9-3 pm to am.?"

"I was helping my younger 'children' with their studies. They're becoming phenomenal. Is that all?"

"Yes, thank you Miss- Headmistress Robichaux."

"Your getting better, farewell until we meet again."

Headmistress Robichaux then turned and walked toward the elevator. When the elevator doors closed Kate let out a sigh she didn't even know she was holding. Rick rolled his eyes and dropped his head on Kate's shoulder and she giggled shortly before moving herself and Rick's head slamming onto the table.

"Ouch!" He hoped turning heads.

Kate immediately felt bad and Castle seemed to actually be hurt, not just his feelings. Beckett leaned down began talking.

"Are you okay?" She quietly cooed to him. Castle slowly looked up and smirked. Since Kate was concerned about him she was very close to his face. And when he looked up they were inches. And Rick was just faking his injury it did sting but it wasn't dangerous. So he played a trick on Kate. When she got close enough he would steal a kiss from her. And that's just what he did. While she was concerned Rick jumped his lips forward and kissed Kate passionately. When his lips touched hers Kate forgot where she was. Kate stayed where she was but only moved her hands to cup his cheeks. They both wanted entrance into the others mouth and both accepted. Kate opened her eyes for a brief second and realized she was making out in her precinct. She quickly pulled back and glared at Castle. She couldn't hide her small smile. She was just happy no one saw.

Espo and Ryan then approached with smirks plastered on their faces.

"So," Espo began, "you must have a strong force on her."

"Why?" Castle asked winking at Kate.

"Because she started making out with you in the precinct."

Beckett blushed deeply and returned to the murder board for a few seconds considering the possible murderer. She was about to say something when the elevator reopened. She heard running in heels and turned to see Miss Robichaux running with a distressed look on her face. She almost ran into Kate but stopped inches away from nearly running her over.

"You need to help me detective." She almost cried grabbing Kate's shoulders.

"What happened Headmistress?" Kate asked, not wanting to be scolded about calling her Miss.

"One of my girls was kidnapped from the orphanage!" She screamed.

"When did you find out?"

"While I was driving back I recorded a call and I immediately turned around and came back here. Please you have to help!" She started shaking Kate's shoulders. Kate was feeling sick, and the scar on her neck was pulling. She cringed her face and Rick saw. He rushed over and separated the two.

"Calm down ok?" Rick said.

"Ok, just please-"

"I will," Kate intervened, "what's her name?"

"Her name is Cordelia Foxx. She's 14. She's only a child."

"I'll find her."

"Do you promise?"

"I know that I will have the best detectives working on this case."

"That's not good enough."

"Do you want my help or not?"

"I'm desperate."

"Ok then. Let me work. Castle could to take her to the break room and get her some tea or something."

"Anything for you my love." Castle replied.

"Shh." Kate gestured.

A few hours later the time was nearing 8:00pm. Kate was exhausted but she wouldn't let a little girl lose her life. She had Tori run the license plate of a van outside the orphanage that had moved progressing my closer by the hour according to the footage. Tori was tracking it at every light and was narrowing it down. Kate had sat back down at her desk dark circles making there way slowly under her eyes. She placed her elbows on her desk and laid her head in them. She breathed in and let out a huge sigh. She them closed her eyes and tried to get some sleep, or at least rest. She was dozing when Headmistress Robichaux shook Kate, startling her awake. Kate had watery eyes from being so tired. She had been up almost all the night before. She had gotten a minimum of 2 hours of sleep and didn't take her breaks because she was helping Miss Robichaux. She stood up very slowly about to fall over. She didn't make a big deal of it because she was a trooper.

"Did you find anything out?!" She eagerly asked.

"Um, we- we um- we have our tech, what's her face- um- she's going through- secur- security footage. No cam footage- of a suspicious vehicle- that- that was lurking- around your orphanage."

"You need to speak up deary."

"I'm sorry Miss I'm just really tired."

"I cannot work with you if you're tired. One of my unbiological children is lost, probably scared and she needs you. And if I can't rely on you and she dies it will be on you. Her death will be your fault. Because you're a bad cop. And I'm sure your mother would be disappointed in you."

Sorry I haven't updated! I've been really busy with events
