3RD P.O.V. Kate and Rick had fallen asleep on the couch, her nestled up close. Halfway through the night Rick started the feel movement next to him. He thought that Kate was just adjusting herself, because the movement was slight. Rick thought nothing of it and just tried to fall back asleep enjoying the simple rain falling outside. The movement of Kate began to pick up and she starting to shake and jolt around. Rick opened his eyes and glanced at his phone it was 1:08am. Kate was usually mumbling about Maddox telling him to leave her alone, but this time it was about Rick. Although at first in was inaudible it was picking up. Rick wanted to wake her, to end her nightmare. But he didn't.
"No...don't leave..." She began, of course he thought, even though he already told her that he wouldn't leave.
"I didn't tell you because...no one was supposed to know...it's not even on my records..."
What was she talking about? What wasn't on her record? And was it not on her criminal record, or medical record, or just personal record? Rick was genuinely confused. He decided that he would just try to forget about it, it's not like she gave away her kid, he thought shaking that slim possibility away. He the grabbed Kate by th shoulders and slowly massaged them. Kate began to calm down and slowly gained a normal breathing pace. Her eyes slowly opened and she smiled when she saw Rick's.
"I'm sorry i woke you." She said looking down.
"It all fine, Kate, you have every right to be dreaming about your abduction." Rick said, maybe hoping that she would mention that it wasn't about Maddox, but something else. To his dismay she didn't. Part of him was happy she dodged his try at her, but the other was upset because he wanted so deeply to know.
"Thanks for understanding." Was all that she said. Kate wanted to tell Rick about her dream like she always did, but she was scared, to scared.
"Do you want to tell me what it was about?" Rick asked.
"No, I'm good, what time is it?"
"1:12am."
"Ok well, I'm going to go take a shower."
"Ok," Kate then got up and headed towards the bathroom, "and Kate?"
"Yeah?"
"Be careful, it can get slippery in there at times."
"Ok." She said and walked in.
Rick badly wanted to confront her but he held back, making some stupid statement about the shower floor.

While Kate was in the shower her phone began to ring. Rick was in the kitchen making them coffee and heard the ringing coming from the living room. Rick wandered over trying to find the ringing.it was coming from in between the couch. He slowly reached his hand inside of the couch and pulled out her still ringing phone. It was the precinct. He answered it.
"Detective Beckett's phone, Castle speaking." He said smiling to himself for no apparent reason.
"Castle, why're you answering Beckett's phone? Are you guys now officially a thing?" Esposito said through the phone.
"Was that sarcastic?" Rick questioned back.
"Kind of, but just tell Beckett that we have a murder uptown ok I'll text you the address."
"Adios Sito."
"Don't try and be Mexican Castle."
