Kate left for work early without Castle with the baby kicking non stop. She was also extremely nauseous today. It was an overall bad day. And it wasn't even noon. She had reached work about half an hour late stopping for gas and a coffee, but the barista spilled it all over her shoes. So she was late. Usually Gates would be upset at her being irresponsible, but her due date was getting closer. It didn't help that the Tyson case was getting no where. Why didn't Castle want to tell her what was bugging him? They were getting married. Or so she thought. Ryan and Espo left her alone knowing that she was pissed. Kate didn't even do the paperwork she was given.

"Espo. Ryan." Kate sternly said her face down. The two quickly hurried over and stood like kids in a line about to get yelled at by Miss Trunchbull.

"Did you get anywhere with Tyson?" She asked.

"No," Ryan began, "CSU found something at where she worked and they traced a fingerprint. We brought in the guy and-"

"When?"

"It was today but since you were late you missed it, but-"

"I know I was late." She raised her voice.

"I'm sorry, but he had an alibi. He was helping his mother at a home for Alzheimer's and he was caught on cam footage watching a movie with her so she wasn't lonely."

"God dammit!"

"Beckett its ok we'll catch Tyson, we want him to-"

"He tried to get Castle killed Ryan! He framed him and if Castle wouldn't have escaped he would've died. If those cops he hired weren't there Castle wouldn't be here, we need to catch him and we need to do it now." Kate said standing up and pacing her hand on her stomach.

"Are you ok?" Espo asked seeing her cringe her face in pain.

"Yeah, it's just its not a good day today." She replied.

"Are you sure you're ok?"

"Yes!" She yelled, whimpering holding her stomach pacing around.

Gates heard the commotion and came out noticing Kate's distress.

"Detective," Gate's started, "why don't you take a break, go relax." Kate looked at her and nodded. She walked to the break room and the three observed as she sat down on the couch, placing her head on the edge of the couch and massaging her stomach. She was in serious pain.

"Should we call Castle? Ryan asked.

"No, if she needed him she would call him." Espo replied.

Kate was curling up, she did not feel ok. She missed Castle. She didn't understand why this was happening to her. She began to sweat and felt pain in her lower stomach.

Castle arrived 10 minutes later and walked up with a cup of ice water because he couldn't have coffee. He saw the face on Espo and Ryan and knew something was wrong.

"What?" He asked.

"What's going on with you and Beckett?" Espo said crossing his arms.

"Nothing," He quickly replied, "But where is she?"

"She's been in the break room. She might have fallen asleep though, she's in pain. But she said that it wasn't serious, and that she just needed space."

Castle nodded and walked in and saw Kate on the couch. He kneeled down and kissed her cheek.

"Kate, wake up." He whispered.

Kate opened her eyes. She wasn't asleep, and she had an expression of pain displayed across her face.

"What?" He urgently asked. He helped her sit up and she cried out in pain.

"It's-"

"Is it the baby?"

She nodded her head and he helped her stand and saw blood beneath her. Kate groaned and fell down. Castle ran to her aid catching her and watching as she passed out. Castle looked over to the bullpen and yelled for help. Everyone hurried in and called 911. Castle was crying. He couldn't lose their baby and he couldn't lose Kate. He kept calling her name and telling her that everything was going to be ok. He brushed her hair out of her face and was praying that everything would be ok.

Soon enough the EMT's came and put Kate on a gurney and got her into the ambulance. Of course Rick rode in the ambulance as well holding Kate's hand the whole way there. The siren sounding the car racing toward the hospital. It seemed like hours until they finally reached the hospital but they eventually made it in about 10 minutes. Rick was ushered to the waiting room while they hurried Kate into surgery. Rick sat with his head in his hands crying like a child. He was worried. He was genuinely scared, he had no idea of the outcome, and the results could go either way.

After the most agonizing hours of his life the doctor emerged into the waiting room filled with anxious cops waiting for answers.

"Katherine Beckett." He called and almost everyone in the room stood up. Kate's dad couldn't reach be hospital because he was in California for a case. But Rick called him and told him the story.

"Any family?" The doctor called and Rick walked up.

"I'm her fiancée, her dad couldn't be present at the moment." Castle announced. The doctor nodded and gestured for Rick to follow him. On the way the doctor began.

"There was a significant amount of blood loss and we managed to save Katherine. And the baby. But she will need to be careful. We are happy we were able to avoid the miscarriage just want you to know that Miss Beckett is recovering from the amnesia and may be a little drowsy. She should be expected to make a full recovery. She'll stay two nights and then will be released." The two reached the room and the doctor let the two lovers be.

The rooms was simple, everything was white, but yet it was elegant in a certain glance. He looked at the walls, looked at the window, looked at the bed, looked at his soon to be wife. She was slowly moving her head back and forth, trying to keep her eyes open. He slowly walked over to her and sat down, holding her hand, waiting for his beauty to fully be awake to apologize, and to tell her everything. Because after all it was supposed to be their wedding day.
