As the portal disappeared, the crowd went silent.

"The Heroes have returned." said an old man.

"Move it." said a tall muscular man said as he pushed the old man away, "They're trespassing. They need to die."

Then, he charged at us. As he ran, Matthew made a circle of water and flew over the man.

"Matthew! What about me?" I yelled, "Oh n..."

When the man tackled me, I blasted him back with a lightning strike.

"AHHHH!!" He screamed as he flew backward.

"Okay, I thought you would be somewhat better than that, but you're pathetic." I said.

"Brian, you weren't supposed to attack him." Matthew said.

"He attacked me."

"Well, you know he wouldn't stand a chance."

"He's lucky I didn't hit him."

"I know, just follow me." Matthew said patiently.

"Okay"

As we walked through town, I felt everyone's eyes staring at me. I suddenly felt self-conscious.

"Hey, Brian, pay attention," Matthew said, "The City Council is over there."

When they arrived at the City Hall, when Matthew reached back to pick me up, he accidently blasted me backwards.

"Ouch," I said while rubbing my sore arm.

"Well, you deserved it."

"Wait, you did that on purpose?"I asked angrily as sparks started to fly off me and my hair started to glow.

"Well that's what you did to that man."

"He attacked me."

"Fair point" Matthew said as he floated to the entrance.

I just sighed and followed him. He was really starting to get on my nerves.

When we reached the stairs, instead of climbing up them, Matthew and I simply just flew up to the entrance. This is the advantage of having powers. After all, climbing a hundred steps can get a bit tiring.

"Matthew, two questions, who can guard the city council from Magrons and rebellions and stuff and why don't they have like an escalator?" I asked.

"That's why we're here. The city council is protected by another one of us. Mikey, the hero of death."

"Yo" Mikey said lazily.

"He doesn't look like much." I whispered to Matthew.

"He can get a bit lazy at times, but he is one of us and we will need his help to fight this new war."

"Um... What can he do?" I asked.

"Well... Forget that." Matthew quickly replied.

"So the thing is" Mikey said,"Someone would have to replace my position of guarding the city council."

" What!?!"

"So, which of you will remain?" Mikey smiled.
