*Seven Days Into Capture*
As Tom and Diana were gearing up for a search mission on the address Vance was told by Zara Whittaker, they were interrupted by an officer who held Vance by the shoulder and pushed him towards them.
"Hey, I found this guy not where he was supposed to be -- the interrogation room -- and found him in the weapons room. Is he one of your fans?" He asked the pair.
Tom was about to say no when Diana nudged his side with her elbow.
"Uh...yes, he's our key witness in a disapperence. He's supposed to help on this investigation of Vera Warren's disapperence and the place where she may be at." He lied.
"Hmm." The officer said. And choosing not to bother, he left Vance with the pair.
"Thanks," Vance told Tom.
"Don't thank me. Thank Skouris here. She may have done it for some reason." Tom said.
Vance became confused. He uttered out his thanks and began to ask why when she interrupted him in the middle of it.
"Because... I think we need another clear shot on the team." She said.
"What?" Tom said, confused. "He's a cop, Diana!"
Diana was doing something she could get fired from. That is a huge deal.
Pulling her back from Vance, Tom asked her why she was doing this.
"Because I think it doesnt matter anymore if he is a cop or a civilian... He deserves to know up close and up front what has happened to Vera and his friend Adam." She explained.
"We don't do this, Diana." Tom protested.
"Wouldn't you want to know if it was your high school sweetheart?" She asked him.
"My high school sweetheart was my ex wife." He monotoned.
"Still," She said, shrugging her shoulders. "Think of it. You would do anything for your son. Just like he would do anything for her."
Tom looked back at Vance, realizing the truth of Diana"s words.
"Fine," He muttered.
He walked back over to Vance who was waiting patiently for them to finish speaking.
"You're on this team. One mistake is made. I shoot you myself." He told him.
"I won't let you down." Vance said.
