I cracked the two eggs I needed into the bowl and took a fork from the drawer to scramble them. I knew I would need salt and pepper to go with the tomatoes and a half of the onion I already chopped up. I moved a bit away from the stove top to the other cabinet and grabbed the salt and pepper with both hands, placing them down on the kitchen counter.

Right as I'm about to put the salt and pepper in the bowl, I can hear a a shuffle of feet behind me. Adam's warm hands enveloped my waist, I could feel myself move back into him. "Hey," He said, his warm breath was in my ear. "Hi," I softly replied. "Omelette?" He asked, giving me a kiss on the cheek and moving away. "Yeah," I replied. He opened the fridge, getting turkey bacon from there.

"Want me to fry up the bacon?" He asked me. I nodded. So he got to work while I was making sure the omelette didn't burn. "How come you weren't in bed? Another nightmare?" He asked me while taking out shredded mozzarella cheese from the fridge. "On the egg?" He asked. I nodded and took the cheese from him, sprinkling it on.

"Yeah, it was the same one." I replied to him. " I'm hoping it's the end of it today after my therapy session." He moved to get out orange juice from the fridge and filled up two cups for us. "Well, I hope so, I miss you in my bed." He said. I couldn't help but to look back at him and give him a smile. "Like I wouldn't miss that for the world. You being a pushy guy in bed, nearly had me fall out of bed the other night because of your legs." I said sarcastically.

I couldn't resist laughing at his mortified expression. I'm very thankful I didn't move around in my bed as a child, I stayed in one spot. He was now blushing, his cheeks pink and nearly making a similar hue to his red hair. "Aww come here, did I hurt your feelings?" I said, reaching out an arm. He took it and picked me up promptly. I giggled and told him to put me down.

His green eyes still alight with amusement, he put me down and gave me a kiss on the forehead. We separated and I finished up cooking the food, I placed it on the table. We began to dig in. The food was good. "You don't mind if I make an escape and you do the dishes?" I laughed. He smiled up at me, gave me a thumbs up. "Gotcha," he said, his wicked smirk coming unto his face.

I went to walk to the plaza where the water fountain was, my heart beating slightly faster from the exercise. Luckily the weather wasn't boiling hot. In all of the excitement of me getting to the therapist, I had nearly almost forgotten that I meant to talk to the new girl.

I expected to see her slender frame in the meeting room but she wasn't there. I admit, not seeing her there was a bit jarring. I felt disappointed. Almost like I expected her there, after all she's been giving me the dreams again. Like something is coming. Something big. There was barely a stir as we all recited the mantra for ourselves at the sessions.

As I was getting ready to leave out the door, I was met by her, her sudden appearance left me a tulmultious feeling in my stomach, making me feel as if the omelette and bacon had no place being there. "Hey," I said to her, hoping to start a conversation. Her slightly worried face seemed to take a surreptitious change at the mention of my voice.

She smiled up at me saying,  "Hello," Knowing this was critical, I had to say something back to keep talking to her. "You okay there, you weren't at the meeting?" I said to her, hesitating a bit on the words coming out of my mouth. She laughed at that. "I'm fine, I've been meaning to come up to talk to you. Want to talk in the plaza and walk around,  get some lunch?" She asked me.
