Hasmina Hilson Martis
Walang katugon ang pahayag ko.
Ang ama ang nagsalita, "Hidden? That is not the right word... you should use a stubborn, castaway, and hardheaded eldest daughter who wants to be silent about her identity."
"Silent? We preferred to keep it that way to--"
"That was before when the threat was unknown. But now, I want to tell the world you are my daughter but you preferred to be silent about it."
"You are his daughter?" Ang pagsasalita na ni Trod.
Tumango bilang sagot.
"It is a secret to the eyes and ears outside. Himna is my sister. Jazz is my distant cousin. Olis did not know he had a daughter until I came to him when I was fifteen. It's a long story, and we will talk about that later."
"I am sorry for keeping it to you. Will you forgive me?" Ang hangarin ng damdamin.
Umiling at, "Should I be the one to say sorry?"
"No, I should be the one," dahil hindi naging tapat kahit may hinala na noon.
"Or both of you should apologize to me and you Trod to your family for not telling them about your relationship... and living under the same roof with Hasmina... for months," singit ni Olis.
"A live-in?"
"Oh yes, they are doing it without bothering to tell us."
"That is not the right thing to do."
"That's true. But I think they are going into it... into marriage. They have their rings on their fingers."
"Hey, I am not yet giving my approval."
"Thank you Dad, for giving us your time like this."
"Don't use that line to me. And you Trod, where's that killer look you gave to me?"
Tawa ang balik dito ni Lazaro Hall. "You deserve it, Olis. You have your part about why they suffered for some manipulations from a jealous father," direkta na dito.
"I am just making sure if their infatuation is tough--"
"We are going."
"Not yet, we should talk a lot more."
Si Trod ang humarap dito. "I am sorry, sir, for thinking crap and looking like that to you. You know... I know I made a mistake. I should not exchange it for what you have given me. I am really sorry for not being honest about my relationship with Hasmina. I am a fool for believing my own speculations."
"Now I get it," ang pahayag ni Himna, "today is the start of Mi and Mister Trod's love without an obstacle."
