This book is the first of this special series. It is written from the persepective of seventeen year old Ana Gonzales. Life alternating change happens to the Gonzales family, turning their world upside down in a blink of an eye. When this drastic change takes place the family is uprooted from everything they've ever known as they move across country to whole other world in a small country town in Kentucky.
Ana has high hopes of studying dance at Julliard in New York City once she graduates from high school. She's worked hard her entire life and sacraficed so much to make it happen. Her life has been shattered by a tragic accident and now she is left to pick up the pieces of her broken heart. Now she is feeling a little lost and uncertain of how her life will turn out. Will she still be able to pursue her dreams of becoming a professional dancer or will she discover that there is something more important than dance? Will she be able to recover from her pain and loss by pursueing her love of dance or will a new love interest help her find her way back to life again?
