Knock, Knock

I jump off the jeep holding a long knife in one hand and many unknown number of weapons hidden within my clothes. I grabbed some good old sneakers, some jogging pants and a tight t-shirt. I know what you are thinking, 'That isn't the right outfit for the upcoming fight.' or 'Shouldn't she be wearing something with more leader?'. But you are wrong. I need to be able to fight in my best condition and these clothes give me more flexibility and they aren't heavy. In other words, they are the best to fight in. And besides, I still look freaking badass.

"So...what's the plan?" Chloe asks with a bored expression. She scans the huge fortress in front of them. In the night it somehow seemed to have shadows in every corner. The fortress is in the middle of nowhere only a simple road passes next to it.

"Get in there and kill Celsius." I explain, I thought it was obvious. Sensei, who is walking in between the two of us, smiles. Only the three of us cross the street. Everybody else is too weak and wounded to come fight with us. And truthfully, they would have gotten in the way.

"We only need to knock on the door, Chloe." Sensei says, smirking.

It doesn't take us long to jump over the high fence that surrounds the fortress. We walk in the shadows avoiding the eyes of all the guards making their runs. They had nothing to do with this and killing them off right now would only make sure Celsius knows that we are here. We finally reach the front wooden door and Sensei is the one that walks up to it and knocks. It takes a moment but eventually some guard actually opens it up. A little space and a clear view at the guard is all Sensei needs to take him out. The guard doesn't even have time to make a sound as a punch hits him in the face, knocking him out cold.

"You really meant knocking." Chloe says with a quiet laugh. A smile never leaving her lips, she is excited about this.

They pass through the door without a sound. By the time I close the door and turn around, four guards are on the floor.

We don't talk as we make our way through corridors. It doesn't surprise me that Sensei already knows the way. We follow him soundlessly down three sets of stairs and after long silent minutes we reach a small metal door. A locked door.

"Very well, here it seems is where the fun part starts. Once I break the lock and open the door, Celsius will know that we are here. Even now there is no certainty that he doesn't already know." Sensei whispers softly. "You two will concentrate on getting the kids out. I will deal with Celsius."

"Why don't I get a chance to go against this Celsius?" Chloe asks disappointed.

"Once the kids are safe you can gladly come back to assist me." Sensei sighs.

"Good." Chloe says with delight. I can already see the excitement in her eyes.

I hate to admit it, but I'm glad Sensei will fight against Celsius.  A part of me is scared to face him, he who has defeated me so easily. But the anger building inside of me overcomes the fear. My body is shaking because of fear and anger.

Sensei breaths deeply and slides his right foot backwards, for better balance. In one swift movement he 'pushes' the door open, breaking the lock. The door crashes against the wall, the sound is echoed all over the walls. To my surprise it isn't a room at all, only more stairs that lead downwards. A small light could be seen from below.

"We have to hurry." I say with determination.

Sensei goes first, then Chloe and I. In seconds we reach the light. A wide opening stretches over us. In front of us are beeping machines, tubes that contained colorful liquids and computers. We walk through it with our guard up. I raise my long knife, prepared to strike. Beyond the lab are four operating tables, in three of them I see Sokaku, Paul and Mich laying there unconscious. I run towards them.
