Step by step {Naruto fan fiction}: Book one

Chapter 10- Within Naruto.

Zabuza was dead.

Kakashi proved it, helanded next to Zabuza checking for his pulse, his answer confermed it. Zabuza the devil was dead.

I couldn't help but fell this nagging at the back of my mind telling me he wasn't dead but everytime I use my bloodline limit to check his chakra, theres none. No life force nothing so I push the thought aside, instead I turned to the masked boy who killed Zabuza.

"Thank you very much," teh boy said bowing. "I've been searching for the oppertunity to kill Zabuza and you gave me that."

"That mask," Kakashi said. "You're a hiddenmist hunter-nin."

I froze, I remember when Teno and I went to the hidden mist and caused a lot of trouble the hunter-nins had to come after us, I absolutly didn't reconize this ninja orhis chakra. I felt uneasy.

"Impressive," the masked boy said to Kakashi. "You are correct."

"Hunte-nin?" the others said confused.

"Yes," the masked boy said. "My duty is to hunt down missing-nins and bring them back either dead or alive."

I looked at him suspisiously, he was really young to be a hunter-nin, he couldn't have been older than me or the others, yet to be a hunter-nin... It usually takes years to become one, and even then the trials to become one are harsh and deadly. I don't believe this is a normal child.

There was a change in the air, I turned to see Naruto shaking and glaring at the hunter-nin boy.

"What the hell!" he yelled, "Who are you."

"Calm down Naruto," Kakashi said getting up. "He isn't our enemy."

"Nor do you want him to be," I mumbled under my breath.

"I'm not asking that!" Naruto yelled. "I'm saying that Zabuza guy was seriously strong.... and he was beaten by a kid! And not just any kid! a kid my age! How do you expect me to understand?!"

I nodded inagreement, Naruto'svoice held some truth but I didn't voice my thoughts out loud.

Kakashi sensei ruffled Naruto's hair, "I know how you feel, but heres the truth. There is always going to be someone younger than you but stronger than me."

No one made any comments and the boy jumped from the tree and landed next to Zabuza and picked him up, "Well, the battle is now over. And I msut dispose of this body, cause it seems to be a body with many secrets. Farewell."

He dissapeared in a wind tunnel made from chakra along with Zabuza's body.

Kakashi sighed, "Well that's over with. We should get Tazuna-san back to his home to finish the bridge. Lets go!"

Tazuna laughed, "Thanks guys! Let's go to my home and you guys can relax for a while!"

We all smiled at the old man but it was then I noticed something was wrong, I quickly shot forwards and caught Kakashi sensei right before he collapsed and hit the ground. Damn, the sharigan must have used up most of his chakra!

"Is Kakashi-sensei alright!" Sakura squeaked. I nodded.

"Yeah, he's just used up too much of his chakra that's all. But we should get to the house quick, justin case we run into any more unwanted guests."

They all nodded and Tazuna led the way.

We had arrived at Tazuna-san's house a little over three hours ago, Kakashi just woke up around five minutes ago. It would have taken longer if not for the help of Tazuna's daughter Tsunami.
