Chapter 22- Take that second exam! We beat you!

~*~*~Sasuke's P.O.V~*~*~

We were waiting outside the tower for Ashimi to come back, it's been over an hour already and we were starting to get worried. Or at least Naruto and Sakura were, I couldn't care less. Okay, maybe that's a bit too harsh but I just didn't think Ashimi could be defeated that easily if she had ran into an enemy.

"Maybe we should go looking for her," Sakura said worried. "It's been too long...."

"Yeah," Naruto agreed. "What do you think happened to her?"

I made a 'tch' noise and the two of them turned to me, "I think shes fine. We all know her, she won't let a few enemies get the better of her."

They both looked doubtful, Naruto a little angry, "Yeah?! Well she's our teammate, and if something happened to her we can't just sit around and wait!"

"What a bother," I snorted.

"What did you say punk!" Narutoshouted in my face, I cringed away from his breath. Did he realize that it smelled like week old ramen?

"Well what I'm saying now is get out of my face!" I growled back at him.

"Why you little-"

"Ashimi-chan!"

We turned to Sakura who suddenly shouted Ashimi's name, we looked where she was looking and saw something. Kabuto was walking towards us with an unconscious Ashimi in his arms, I narrowed my eyes. Had he done something to her?

"What happened?" Naruto shouted rushing to meet him.

"Oh," Kabuto said smiling sheepishly. "My team and I were just about to come back when we found her laying on the ground. She didn't have any wounds which was strange so we brought her back here."

I glared at him, that sounded like a total lie. I didn't believe a word that came out of his mouth, what had he done to her?

"Here you go," Kabuto said handling Ashimi to Naruto who now held her bridal style. "Take good care of her, I'm not sure what happened but you should ask her just in case."

"Thank you Kabuto-san," Sakura said.

"Your welcome," he replied walking away. "I'll see you later than."

I watched as he left than turned back to Naruto who set Ashimi down on the ground, it was strange. She didn't have any wounds on her yet she was unconscious.....

"How should we wake her up?" Naruto asked.

Sakura bit her lip, "I don't know maybe-"

We didn't have to do anything, 'cause at that moment Ashimi stired. Slowly she sat up and rubbed her eyes like a little kid would.

"Where am I," she asked groggily. "Did we pass the exam?"

"Are you okay Ashimi-chan?" Sakura asked, Ashimi looked up at her and furrowed her eyebrows.

"Yeah," she said confused. "Why wouldn't I be?"

"Well because Kabuto said he found you unconscious in the forest," Sakura answered. "What happened back there?"

Ashimishrugged, "I don't know. One minute I was walking away from you to do something the next I wake up here with you all staring at me worried."

Now I was really confused, for someone to lose their memory like that they would need a serious concussion but Ashimi didn't appear to have a mark on her head. Besides I don't think there's a justu out there that can erase memory.... is there? And if there was what was the use of erasing her memory?
