Chapter 9- The Sharingan's True power!

"Naruto Uzumaki! Leaf ninja."

I stared at him in amazement, he was still standing after that blow? I guess Naruto was best at one thing, not giving up.

"Sasuke" Naruto suddenly called. "I have a plan."

Sasuke scoffed but was smiling, "Pft, teamwork from you?"

Either Naruto didn't hear his rude tone or was simply ignoring in. "Now, let's get wild."

I frowned, he didn't even say the plan yet, I know it would be hard with Zabuza here and all but still...

"A lot of arrogance" Zabuza commented. "But do you really stand a chance?"

Kakashi suddenly shouted, "What are you doing?! Run away! The fight was over the moment I was caught! Our duty is to protect Tazuna-san! Or did you forget that?!"

I turned to him a sad smile on my face, "Kakashi- sensei. You said it yourself earlier, so neither will we let our comrades die."

Kakashi gave us a bewildered look but otherwise shut up.

"I'm sorry about this guys," Tazana sighed. "Thanks, go and finish the fight if you want."

"Pft," Sasuke said. "Did you hear that Naruto."

Naruto nodded. "Yeah, are you ready?"

"ha..." Zabuza suddenly started laughing until it drowned out almost ever other sound. "You guys will never grow up. Going to keep playing ninja, when I... about your age, these hands were already dried with blood."

I gnashed my teeth, "You Devil Zabuza."

"Ah, so you heard a little about it" he said we a sick yet prideful grin.

"Yeah," I said. "Wasn't it that long ago in the hidden mist village, also call the blood mist village... there was a final obstacle in becoming a ninja?"

"Hmm," Zabuza mumbled thoughtfully. "You've even heard of the graduation exam."

I felt my blood boil at the memory when I was first told about it, I remember throwing up.

"The exam?" Naruto said in confusion.

Zabuza began to chuckle, slowly it grew into a loud laugh. I gnawshed my teeth, what sick memory was he thinking of that seems to please him so?!

"What's the graduation exam?" Naruto said fourcefully but Zabuza continued to laugh.

There was a deep rumble in my chest, without realizing it I let out a growl. Naruto turned to me, "Ashimi-chan, tell me."

My eyes widened and Zabuza smiled and seemed to urge me on to tell him, damn that fucker! I swallowed and proceeded to answer.

"A fight to the death between students." I said through clenched teeth. I didn't need to look to tell there was a shocked expression on each of my comrades faces, with the exception of Kakashi though. I continued, "Friends who have trained, ate at the same table are pitted against each other and go at it. Until one of them losses his life. These are friends who've helped each other and shared dreams."

"Terrible..." I heard Sakura whisper.

"But," I said, my voice tightening. I looked up and gave the deadliest glare to Zabuza, "10 years ago the hidden mist graduation exam... was fource to change. The change came the previous year, when the devil appeared."

"Changed?" Sakura said. "What changed? What did the devil do?!"

 I shut my eyes than opened them again to see Zabuza grinning from a far, "Without pause or hesitation, a young boy who was not even a ninja." I felt bile raise in my throat,"... killed over a hundered students."
