For a week I sat at home bored, sure I'd go out to hang with Sakura sometimes but she's all worried about Sasuke and isn't really fun to be with. I'd hang out with Naruto but he's with that pervy baboon everyday and Sasuke and Kakashi are no where in sight. I'm positive that they've gone to train all ready.

But at the end of the week Teno was finally released from the hospital and we were able to leave.

"Teno-kun!" I shouted down stairs. "Did you pack the beef jerky yet?!"

"No!" He yelled back up. "I thought you did!"

"I can't find it!"

"Where did you last see it?!"

"With you dumb ass!"

"But I gave it to you!"

"No you didn't!"

"Yes I did!"

"No!"

Yes!

"No!

"Yes!

"I said NO!" I shouted finally and flopped on the bed exhausted. We've been packing to leave all day and things keep on going missing left and right, up and down! Inside out!

I sighed and zipped up my bag, "You know what Teno-kun! Forget it! We'll pick up some on the way out of Konoha."

"Whatever," I heard him mumble.

I picked up my duffel bag with everything I'll need for the next three weeks training out of the village. It's been a while since it was just me and Teno, just traveling around training and causing trouble. Good old days.......

I made my way down the stairs, occasionally throwing the house keys up in the air and catching it again. By time I reached down stairs Teno was at the door, struggling to get his shoes on.

I giggled, "Having fun there?"

Teno glared at me, "No. And instead of standing there like an idiot why don't you help me carry the bags out the door."

"Bags?" I questioned. I looked on the couch and gasped, there had to be at least thirty duffel bags stacked up messily. How much did he need for this small trip?!

"Teno," I said slowly. "I'm a girl and I only have one bag, what in hell do you have a million?!"

"Correction," Teno said standing up. "I have 26."

I sweatdropped at him, "Here's the thing. You can bring one bag or none at all."

"But I need all that!"

"No you don't!" I snapped. I walked up the bags and unzipped the first one, cooking books. I opened the second bag, his collection of snow globs. I sighed and quickly emptied one bag and stuffed a bunch of socks, shirts, underwear (sadly), shorts, snacks, some money, and a hand full of extra weapons that we weren't carrying ourselves.

Teno's mouth dropped to the floor, "One bag?!"

"Yes," I said slamming it into his chest. "One bag and one bag only. Now lets go, I'd rather be out of the village before the third exams start slowpoke."

Teno grumbled but followed behind, locking the door on the way out. We walked past the market and I stopped at a stand to pick up three bags of BBQ beef jerky and a plum to eat on the way. Stuffing the dried meat in my bag I continued walking while biting into my plum.

By sun set we were about five miles away from Konoha, by night fall we had a small camp set up in a small clearing.

I rolled out my sleeping bag next to the fire and unhooked my weapons pouch from my belt. I untied my forehead protector from my waist and set it next to me. I than nestled into my sleeping bag yawning.
