Chapter 13- Pure as snow...

The nine tailed fox has awakened.

I found myself calling out to Kakashi, "SENSEI! THE SEAL HAS BEEN WEAKENED!"

I watched in horror as red chakra only I could see surrounded Naruto, taking the form of a evil looking fox. All of Naruto's injuries healed rapidly and the same chanting of this evil chakra pounded in my head making me fall to the ground holding practically pulling my hair out.

Kill! Kill! Kill! KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL!

I cried out as the evil feeling drowned out all my other senses, was I going crazy? I looked up to see Haku frozen by this incredible force.

"RUN HAKU!" I shouted, I could tell by the only thought that screamed so loud in Naruto's mind that I was surprised no one else heard it. It hungered for Haku's blood.

Naruto suddenly lunged at Haku, with nothing but animal instinct. Haku jumped back into his ice and threw his needles at Naruto, too fast to dodge or even see. But Naruto some how sensed the chakra on the needles and swiped them away.

Haku suddenly attacked from the mirror above Naruto and diving down at him at an alarming rate but Naruto easily  spun out of the way leaving Haku out in the open with no protection. Haku looked frantic and was about to head  towards one of the mirrors when Naruto appeared out of no where, surpassing Haku's speed even with the justu and hit Haku so hard no normal person could survive from it.

Naruto caught Haku's arm in that moment and his other hand balled up into a fist and punched Haku square in the face sending him hurdling out of the justu, destroying it at the same time.

Haku fell to the ground and rolled over and stood up, his mask cracked. I realized in that moment that Haku had no chance of beating Naruto if the seal continued to let Nine tails chakra out.

Naruto jumped ahead and got ready to send another punch, a fatal one this time, to Haku just as the rest of his mask crumbled to the floor. Naruto's fist suddenly stopped though, an inch from Haku's face.

"Why'd you stop," Haku whispered.

Naruto glared at him, "You're from that time..."

My mind raced to figure out what he meant by that then I realized that Haku had told me he talked to Naruto. He couldn't have been wearing his mask then so Naruto must now recognize Haku from when he talked to him.... oh.....

"I killed you're friend," Haku continued. "Yet you can't kill me?"

Naruto growled, "Damn it!"

He punched Haku in the face but not as hard this time to my relief. Only hard enough to send Haku to the floor. I sighed when I realized that the seal had closed up, no more nine tails chakra was leaking out.

 "What happened to you're killing intensity?" Haku questioned. "You can't kill me with that. Many make that mistake of that, not killing their enemies out of pity. To just let them leave with their lives. Canyou understand that? Not having a dream, not being needed by anyone, the pain of just living..."

Naruto was speechless, he knew perfectly well what Haku spoke of, the pain.... day after day.... ....pain...

"Waht areyou trying to say?" Naruto asked.

Haku smiled, though I could tell it was a smile full of pain and sorrow, "Zabuza has no need for a weak shinobi, you have taken away my reason of existence."

"Why for a guy like that?!" Naruto suddenly shouted, "WHy for a guy who takes money from a criminal?! Is that eyebrow less freak the only important person to you?!"
