Chapter 34- A Battle of Demons.

I watched as the two boy's headed for one another and when they met, Sasuke's chidori slashedGaara's monster arm in two, right down the middle.

Once they landed on either tree I made my move and landed on Sasuke's branch next to him. Gaarain the distance was laughing, his monster arm was split in half and it looked like he had two arms on that side of him body.

"So that's what it was...." the crazed shinobi chuckled. "The reson I exist, I just realized it now. This pain...."

The red head gripped his arm as it trembled, "Defeating the man strong enough to hurt me and killing him! That will give me a greater sense of my existence!"

"Sasuke be careful," I said. He looked at me suddenly surprised, as if he didn't realize I was there a moment ago.

"When did you get here?!"

"Nevermind that!" I shouted. "You should be paying attention to that!"

I pointed at Gaara who continued to laugh.

"I want more!" He roared, and suddenly more evil chakra infested sand formed behind Gaara, I was looking at a tail. His split arm had reformed itself and now Gaara stood smirking at Sasuke, I shivered. I don't think I've been this scared in my life except maybe the time my village was destroyed. This evil pressure exerted by Gaara nearly paralyzed me when I first got here.

"Here I come!" Gaara shouted and he lunged at us faster than before. It was too fast for me to see with my regular eyes so I had to activate Gorudoen so I could read his next moves from his chakra. Both me and Sasuke dodges out of the way, I noticed Sasuke had activated his sharingans. If we didn't have out bloodline limits I was sure we'd be dead.

I landed on the branch opposite of Sasuke, Gaara in between us. Sasuke made a hand seal and his lungs filled with chakra. I wanted to help so I made a hand seal of my own and as Sasuke released his large fire ball at Gaara I shouted, "Raitoningu no toumorokoshi no justu! Blade of Lightning!"

The sky flashed, but because the sky wasn't really rainy I got a sucky just, still powerful though. My lightning hit Sasuke's fireball, powering it up so much the flames turned white. It became faster and hit Gaara but the sand shinobi shielded himself from the attack with his gigantic tail. Still the attack had it's toll, Gaara screamed in pain and shot out at Sasuke screaming, "Die!"

Gaara reached Sasuke who dodged out of the way, still the blue haired boy wasn't fast enough andGaara hit him square in the chest sending Sasuke hurdling back. Branches snapped and broke inSasuke's wake and at last he hit a large tree trunk and caused a huge crater to form there.

"Is this all your existence means to you," Gaara asked Sasuke who sat limply on a tree branch. "Let me make it clear to you than..... You. Are. Weak! Your too soft because your hatred isn't strong enough, the power of hate is the power to kill, the power to kill is the power of vengeance-"

"Stop it!" I screamed in a shrilled voice, I lunged at Gaara. I didn't want to hear the words anymore even if it wasn't directed at me, I still didn't want to hear it. As I reached Gaara sand caught my ankle and hurdled me at a tree, still my ankle was in the grip of the sand. It continued to crash me into various trees until I was a bloody pulp.

Gaara now held me by my hair over the edge of the tree, the ground seemed miles away. I felt sure I would die if I fell.

"Your hatred is weaker than mine," Gaara continued, I tried to block out the words. They hurt me more than the wounds that covered me, they were like salt being put on my wounds and I hated it.

"Shut up," Sasuke said.

"Do you understand what this means?!" Gaara shouted. "It means your Weaker Than ME!"
