Chapter 29- Gaara the Demon

"Are you Sasuke's brother?"

His head snapped to me in surprise, "You know Sasuke?"

I nodded, "He's my friend.... sorta. He's not really anyone's friend but I'm one of his teammates."

"Hey," the guy next to him said. He looked like he was part shark, what is with people and looking like animals?! I mean first there's Orochimaru the pedo snake man, that the perverted baboon sage and now shark boy? I just hope he isn't perverted like the other two, shudder. "Who is this chickItachi?"

Itachi shrugged, "Apparently my baby brother's teammate."

I crossed my arms, I had heard what Sasuke's brother did. Exactly what the bastard Nekito did but even worse to his own village. Yet when I look at him and his chakra I can't feel mad at him. I mean it shows that he did murder his village but I can't help be feel like he has an acceptable reason. I can't be angry at him.

"Why were you after Nekito?"

"Mission."

"Ashimi," Teno whispered in my ear. "We should go."

I shrugged him off curious about the man in front of me, "Your the one who killed your entire village right."

I noticed there was a hint of pain in his eyes as I mentioned it but it was gone not a second later, "Yeah so?"

"Ashimi let's go," Teno said more forcefully. "I'd rather not be around the mass killer."

I cocked my head to the side ignoring Teno, "Why did you Itachi?"

"To prove my power," Itachi said boredly.

I frowned, though he said this his chakra told me different. But I didn't dwell on it, "Alright Teno, lets go."

I pushed Teno back to camp, I turned around to look at the exiled Uchiha in curiosity. What was the real reason he killed his village?

The two men ran off in pursue of Nekito and I packed up my bags and turned to Teno, "I think it's about time we head back home. F-After that incident back there I'm feeling a bit home sick."

Teno seemed a little pissed at me but nodded anyways and we began to pack up everything.

It took us around three days until we finally reached Konoha, I rushed to the gate greeted by some ninja's whom I've gotten to know. I smiled and took in the scenery around me, my home.

"You know something," Teno suddenly huffed. "I think I'll just head home and take a shower. Two weeks without a proper shower can really leave a bad smell."

I snorted, "You just want to smell good for Asai."

Teno blushed madly and stormed away, I broke into a fit of laughter.

"Ashimi-san!"

I turned around and saw Shikamaru waving at me, I gave him a huge smile, "Shika-kun!"

His face scrunched up in disqust, "I told you not to call me that."

"Alright..... Shiky-san!"

"Not that either."

I pouted, "Your no fun Shikamaru!"

"Whatever."

I noticed that he was carrying a nicely wrapped basket of fruit, I looked at "What's that for?"

"Choji," Shikamaru replied. "He's in the hospital."

I gasped, "Still?!"

"No," Shikamaru said. "He got better but when Asuma-sensei took us out to eat, the fatass ate too much and hurt his stomach."
