Yay! Finally! Teno-kun's point of view! Enjoy!
And now you all see just how powerful Ashimi is!
~*~*~*~Teno's P.O.V.~*~*~*~
As soon as Ashimi jumped in front of Sakura to protect her against the attack dread filled me, it wasn't that I was worried that she would get hurt. I mean I was but that wasn't really at the top of my mind right now.
What I was truly worried about was when her hairband snapped and her hair fell free. For the last six years Ashimi has never taken off that hairband, and I never thought I'd see the day when it came off.
Six years ago, Ashimi was first starting to train her bloodline limit, she lost control. In the end she destroyed half of the hidden mist village and it took more then thirty chunins and jounins to control her rampage. At least long enough for the wise women of their village to come in and place that hairband on her hair to seal her powers.
"You fool!" I yelled at the sound nin named Zaku. "She'll kill us all!"
"Whats going on?" Sakura asked confused. "Is Ashimi-san alright?"
I shook my head violently, "I'll explain later but you must get away from her! NOW!"
Sakura heard the urgent tone in my voice and quickly jumped away from Ashimi who was now shouting. Her hair shone golden and flapped wildly around her by an invisible wind, all around us the trees withered and a rain of leafs poured down as she stole their chakra, their life force.
"What's going on!" Shikamaru shouted over the sudden wind.
"I'll tell you later! For now you need to get away from Ashimi!" I shouted.
Everyone seemed to understand the extent of the situation and backed away from Ashimi. She yelled an inhuman scream and turned to face us and before we knew it she wasn't at her spot anymore. When I turned around she already had Shikamaru, Ino, and Sakura on the ground. She held Choji by the throat as he struggled for air.
For a moment I was mesmerised, Ashimi at the moment had a wild and exotic look to her that was both breathtaking and scary. The only word to discribe it would be beautiful. I quickly shook the thought from my head though, it was a miracle that Ashimi hadn't snapped Choji's neck yet.
I pulled out my sword and reached deep into my weapons pouch and pulled out one of the few spare hairbands the wise women gave me that day. My sword, Lengewa's chakra was being sapped by Ashimi. I growled in frustration, though she couldn't take chakra from people the longer this drew on the harder it would be to defeat her.
I quietly and quickly pulled Shikamaru, Ino, and Sakura to the side where they were out of harm and held Lengewa out in front of me.
"Ashimi!" I called, she turned to me suddenly and narrowed her eyes. She dropped Choji who was choking as he finally got well needed air in his lungs once again.
Ashimi walked slowly towards me, her hair flowing behind me. I took a step back knowing just how dangerous she can really be.
"Ashimi," I said slowly. "Listen to me. I need you to calm down, just long enough for me to place this hairband on you're hair again. Okay?"
She made no indication of hearing me, I didn't really think it would work anyways. Instead her hair shot forwards and caught my wrists, burning them.
"Ashimi," I grunted. "Please listen to me! I know you're in there somewhere!"
Again she didn't seem to hear my words, instead she bared her teeth at me with an inhuman growl at the back of her throat.
I gripped Lengewa harder and as soon as Ashimi was in touching distance I slashed her stomach. She screeched in pain but the plan worked, her hair released me and I jumped ten feet back. Ashimi shook violently as her wound healed at a amazing pace, leaving a few drops of blood to fall to the ground. She looked at me and glared, suddenly her hand made a justu and she bit her finger and wiped blood on her arm.
