Chapter 27- There are Pervs and Pedos everywhere!!!!!

After I told Teno about Lee and Gaara's battle he was at a complete shock, I wasn't sure if I should tell him that Lee might never be a shinobi again so I didn't. About right after I told him Sakura came running into the room yelling for me to get my ass back down to the battle hall. I didn't even get time to say good bye to Teno before Sakura had grabbed my arms and dragged me out of the room, I could still hear Teno's laughter. Damn bastard!

Of course when I got back to the hall I was happy, I would've missed the announcement and directions for all the winners in the preliminaries. I made it about a minute after Hayate started explaining and lined up next to Naruto.

I looked around and saw that there were nine of us, me obviously, Naruto, Shikamaru, Gaara, Kankuro, Tamari, Dosu, Neji, Shino, and some hidden mist chick apparently named Aruso Nikimi. But one person was missing, Sasuke.

"Congratulations," Hayate congratulated us. "To all who have won the right to participate in the next round, or so to speak. The preliminaries for the third exam is now over, Hokage-sama will now explain the rest if you would please."

The last part was directed at the third who cleared his throat and looked at all of us, "Yes, well now I'd like to explain the third exam, the main test. As I told you, in the main event you're matches will be seen by everybody. Each of you will fight with the strength of you're country, this is the time to show off all your powers with no reserves. Which is why the finals will be held..... one month from now."

Shock expressions imprinted on the faces of all the genins who were still in the battle hall, a loud murmur broke out as everyone discussed what the third just said. Though I don't see why, what's there to talk about? I mean the Hokage did say it strait out right, what's the need to discuss for?

"We're not going to do it right here right now?" Naruto asked like the idiot he was. I had half a mind to knock him out right there, the third did say that everyone was going to see it right?! There's no one here but us and a few junins and chunins. On top of that we were all low on chakra, how the hell did he expect us to fight out best at a time like this?! Oh Naruto...... you idiot!

"The break you can say," the third answered. "Is for preparations. Better put..... in addition to the various countries lords and leaders, this is the time to prepare for the gathering of the event. This is also training time for you examination students. Where you can calculate you're chances of winning, and use the information you've gathered here at the first two exams to help you have a better chance. The battles up till now were actual battles with an unknown opponent. Of course the final exam will be nothing like this, some have already shown all they've got to their opponents, some were badly injured against stronger opponents. So to be fair one month is time for you to advance and improve yourself, of course to rest your bodies as well."

"I'd like to dismis you now but," the third said smiling. "There's something that has to be done before you leave. Anko here will pass around a box with peices of paper in it. Look at your number ans tell Ibiki when he comes around."

When Anko got to me I stuck my hand in the box and bit my lip, I've always loved drawing a random paper from a bunch of others and see what it said on it. When I unfolded the paper I looked at the number, 5.

Than Ibiki came around and ask for my number, wow that sounded wrong....... I meant he asked what number I drew.

"Number 5," I said.

Ibiki nodded and wrote something down on his clip board and went back and stood by the Hokage.

"Now," the Hokage said. "I will now reveal to you the final tornimant!"

Shock gasps erupted from the line of Genins, but I wasn't fooled, but lets face it. When am I ever fooled?

'Ibiki, please show them the match arragments," the third said. Realization dawned on the faces of the Genins around me.
