Jeff's P.O.V.
I woke up and walked into the kitchen. Iris was sitting on a chair, looking out the window. "What is it, Iris? If you want to go home, too bad. I'm keeping you here." I laughed a bit. She didn't move. "Iris, are you pissed at me?" I asked. Still no movement. "Iris..." I sat beside her. "Stop it... I want to be alone." She looked like she had been up all night, crying. "Iris! Are you okay?" I looked at her. "I remembered something... And today's date... It was really painful for me."
I put my hand on her shoulder. "Tell me." She turned her head. "This day, last year... My husky dog, Bubbles died... I buried him in my backyard, under his favorite tree." I laughed a bit. "That's it? Just a dog?!" She slapped me across the face. "He was my friend! My baby!" she screamed. She crossed her arms and ignored me. "What? Are you ignoring me now?" I asked. She stood away from me. "Well, fine. Ignore me." This was killing me inside. I hated fighting with Iris... I loved her! I handled that situation terribly.
I walked off, leaving into my private room and punching the shit out of a punching bag. "That isn't getting you a girlfriend. Or laid." I turned around to see Slendy leaning on a wall. "Shut up, you dick. I don't need your opinion." I said, swinging another jab. "Sorry I spoke, then."
I looked at him. "Can you resurrect things and fill them with immortal life?" I asked. "Yes. Why?" I got a great idea. "I need a shovel." I said, throwing my l
gloves down. "Whatever you're planning, I don't want to know. I'll resurrect whatever you want, but I don't plan on getting too involved.
I ran into my shed and grabbed a shovel. "Alright, this will not be fun... But I'm doing it for Iris... It'll be worth it."
I had Slendy teleport me to her house. "Okay... Let's find that damn tree." I was in her old backyard in the afternoon. "Let's get this over with... This will be an awesome present for Iris."
There was four or five pine trees in the yard. I dug up two or three until I noticed the one in back had a large stone under it. I was a fucking moron!
I went to that tree and dug where the stone was, finding a large metal coffin. She really must have loved the dog to get him an actual coffin. When I was seven, my parrot died and we just buried him. "This won't be fun to drag..." I turned to see that there was a guy in the upstairs bedroom, probably Iris's dad. "Shit, shit, shit..." If he noticed me, I may be forced to kill him. Iris would never forgive me. I quickly called Slendy. "Slendy! Can you get me out of here? I have a metal box... And I don't want to drag it to an alley so that you can teleport me there. I don't care about secrecy, just get me out of here! I think her dad's noticed me." I was out of breath. "Okay... Wait a second." Slendy responded. The guy upstairs saw me and ran down stairs. "Fuck..." Slendy sure was taking his sweet-assed time. I felt everything go dark just as the guy opened the door.
When everything became clear, I realized I was at Slendy's house. He was standing in front of me. I sat up and looked around for the metal box. I looked to my right and saw the metal box. "Slendy, let's get started..." Slendy picked the box up. "Yes... There is a dead husky in here... This is what you want me to resurrect?" he asked. "Yeah. So do it." He sighed. "Fine. I need some of your blood, though. I don't want to use my own." I gave him a strange look. "Uh... Fine..." I took my knife out and cut my arm lightly, but enough to draw blood. "This hurts like fuck... Here..."He ran into the other room and returned with a jar. "Put a few drops in here." I let my blood drip into the jar. "There... Take it away." He gave me a bandage to wrap around my cut.
I waited for what felt like hours, listening to odd chanting and creepy voices. When Slendy came back, he was holding a husky dog. It didn't look any different. "There. It breathes. Now get out of my house... That was energy draining. I stared as the dog that was laying limp on the floor stood up and looked at me. It was grinning. "Well... I'll go... But why is it smiling?" I asked. "I needed blood. I didn't want it to be faceless, so I couldn't use my own. It inherits a physical trait from whoever it got it's blood from. I suppose it took your smile." I stared at the dog. "It's the same dog, right?" He nodded. "Yes. It has be come a bit more... Malicious, but it will still love who cared for it in life." I picked it up, finding the dog to be very heavy.
I carried it a few miles to my house. "Okay... Bubbles. First, I apologize for your name. Second, do you remember Iris?" It tilted it's head at me. "I swear, you're so creepy right now. I'll just assume you remember Iris."
I opened the door, revealing Iris to be sitting at a table, bored. "Still sad?" I asked. She turned away. "And you're still pissed. Double the fun. But I have a surprise for you. Come here, Bubbles."I opened the door a bit more, letting the dog in. It sniffed around until it saw Iris. It proceeded to run at her at full speed and tackle her.
Iris screamed as the chair she was pouting in was knocked over. I ran to see the dog was sniffing her all over. "B-B-Bubbles... How are you... I thought you died...?" Her head turned to me. "You can thank me now." I said, smiling. "... Bubbles..." She wrapped her arms around the dog.
"Why is he smiling?" she asked. "Uh... Sorry about that..." I scratched the back of my neck. "You brought my dog back to life... I can learn to live with his smiling..." She stroked her dog.
"Jeff... I can't thank you enough... You gave me Bubbles back... That's the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me..." I looked at the dog. "Yeah... Can we call him anything else? Bubbles sounds degrading..." She looked at her dog. "You can name him. You brought him back..." I thought for a minute. "How about... Smile?"
