Jeff's P.O.V.

I opened felt my eyes focus as everything became clear. Iris was next to me, under my arm, still not awake. BEN was a few feet away, studying everything. He looked at me. "You're pretty lucky. Iris is perfect... And you two love each other so much. You have no idea how much I really want that." I stood up a bit. "Well... She's my girl."

BEN let out a sigh. "Jeff... Can I hold her... Just once? ... I won't hurt her, I swear... I just want to hold her in my arms." I gave him a look. "Don't even try it. You can't hold her." I picked her up myself and looked around. "This place... We're most definitely in the underworld." sighed BEN. "I know."

In the underworld, it was eternally night. Everything else was somewhat normal, except for half of the place. Half of the place was a mind fuck. In certain places, though, it looked just like any old place. "Iris... Wake up, baby." Her eyes opened up a bit. "Huh... Where are we?" she asked. "Underworld. Remember?" She thought for a minute. "Oh... Yeah... That." She looked around. We were by a river, with a few trees scattered here and there. The grassy floor was soft and felt nice to lay on.

Iris looked around and noticed the river. She thought for a minute. "Guys... We should find somewhere for shelter. I have an uneasy feeling..." she said, still looking at the water. "Okay, Iris. Let's go. There's going to be someone somewhere... There has to be."

We walked for a long time, seeing nothing. Iris seemed to be slowing down a bit, but was trying her hardest to keep up with us. "Iris... You okay?" I asked. She looked up. "I'll be fine. I..." She collapsed. "Iris!" I ran to her side. She limped up a bit. "I'll be fine! We need to find shelter!" She stood up again. "We need to get somewhere." I shook my head. "You have to be on something if you think I will push you like that." She shook her head. "You shut up! I'll be fine!" She looked at me and began to slow her breathing. Her look became softer. "I'm fine, Jeff. I'm alright." We slowed down a bit for her. "Guys... I'm fine."

We walked a bit more before Iris stopped dead in her tracks. "Guys... I don't feel... So... Good..." She fell to her side. "No!" BEN caught her and placed her in my arms. "I think we pushed her over her limit..." BEN said quietly. "Yeah... Iris..." I kissed her forehead. "You need some rest. I looked around. "Here... I guess we're sleeping on the ground." I laid down and placed her head on my chest. "Iris... Get some sleep." She snored a bit and pressed her face in my chest. "Goodnight, my Iris." I whispered. "... Goodnight, my Jeffrey." she whispered back. I let my consciousness drift off and I fell asleep.

"Alright, alright. Get your ass up, pale guy. If you don't do exactly what we say, I would NOT want to be that girl you were holding." hissed a voice. "Let me go, you bastard! I will KILL you!" Iris screamed. I stood up and my jaw dropped at what I saw.
