Jeff's P.O.V.
I stood at the end of the aisle. Slender Man, who was going to be the priest, stood quietly. Everyone sitting down was talking to the person to their left or right. Even Zalgo was here, sitting quietly by himself. As weird as he was, he wasn't a bad guy. Just really, really strange.
My best man was actually a surprise. For me, for him, for everyone. I called up my brother, Liu, one night. Last time, he'd wanted to kill me. Honestly, I missed my brother. We talked for a little while, when I brought up the wedding. He asked me about it, and I invited him. Liu went quiet for a minute before responding with a yes. Then, I asked him if he would like to be my best man, which he also replied to with a yes. Liu was tall and thin, with long brown hair. His eyes were a shiny blue, and his mouth wore a small smile.
"Well, Jeff, happy wedding day. May you and Iris live happy lives." congratulated my friend, Dr. Smiley. "Thanks, Smiley." He nodded.
Almost everyone came up and congratulated me. Karen was helping Iris get ready. I stood impatiently, talking a bit to Liu and Masky. Masky was one of the groomsmen, along with his brother. "Dude, just relax yourself. By the end of the night, you and your sexy little bride will probably be in bed, doing vigorous exercises." he laughed. A perverted grin grew on my face at the thought, but I shook it off.
BEN slowly took a seat in back. I raised an eyebrow. I never would've thought he would've come. It seemed as if he pretended the wedding didn't exist. His face didn't show any emotion. His pitch black eyes almost seemed lifeless. Why was he even here?
Karen ran down the aisle. "She's ready! We're going to start!" Everyone sat down and went silent.
Iris appeared from a nearby building. Her silver hair was put up in a long braid down her back. Flowers were intertwined in the braid. A veil covered her face, so I couldn't see if she was wearing makeup. The dress she wore was slim, long, and flowing. It was a pure, soft white. She slowly walked towards me, bouquet of red roses in hand. She was elegant, graceful.
When she stood by me, she turned to me and looked at me. I took her hand, and we faced Slender Man. He started the vows, and I wasn't really listening. "Jeffrey Philips, do you take Iris Morerose as your wife? In sickness and in health, in good and in bad, til death do you... Wait, you don't die... Til death do you not part?" I nodded. "I do." Slender Man turned to Iris. "And do you, Iris Morerose, take Jeffrey Philips as your husband? In sickness and in health, in good and in bad, til death do you not part?" Iris nodded. "I do."
"Alright. If there are any out there who think these two should not be wed, speak now or forever hold your peace." BEN stood up. He stared at us for a minute. "I... I hope you two are happy together." He sat down. Good. I'd have to decapitate him if he said something. "Alright. I know pronounce you serial killer, and wife. You may kiss the bride." I lifted her veil to reveal her twinkling eyes. I pulled her up and kissed her. There was cheering from the group. Masky was giving me a thumbs up, and Liu was smiling. Karen was sobbing her eyes out, and Zalgo was quietly clapping.
Iris pulled away gently. I picked her up and carried her down the aisle. We had the cake that Karen baked. Iris stuffed the piece into my mouth. When I got a bit of frosting on my cheek, she licked it. I felt my face go red. She laughed and we moved on to the wedding presents.
We got a toaster from Zalgo, a new leash for Smile from Slender Man and Karen, and "Adult toys" from Masky (Thanks, Masky. I really wanted everyone to see that). We had a few more things, but it went by pretty fast until we got to BEN's present, which was a baby's rattle. Iris stared at it for a minute. I turned to him. "Why would you get us this?" I asked. "I figured that you two will have another child in no time. It will be useful." I looked back to Iris, who was staring at the rattle. I took it away and put it back in the bag. "Thanks everyone. Iris and I had a great wedding day. See you soon." Everyone slowly left. Iris was still sitting there. I lifted her up in my arms and carried her home.
I kicked our door open. Smile greeted us, but I tried to slip past him. Masky and Hoody were supposed to help me carry everything home the next day. Iris still seemed lost in thought. I sat next to her on the bed. She laid down, saying nothing. I was sitting up right. "Iris... You okay?" I asked. She looked up. "I'm happy, trust me, I'm happy. I mean, today is one of the best days of my life! I will never forget the happiness I've felt today." I kissed her. "Good. Neither will I."
I began to strip down when Iris grabbed my arm. "Hey, you aren't going to bed yet, are you?" I smirked. "Of course not. Just getting ready."
