Iris's P.O.V.
Jeff was now allowed to sleep next to me. He says it's a relief that he doesn't have to sleep on the floor, anymore, and I don't blame him. It must have been uncomfortable. Smile sleeps at our feet, always.
I opened my eyes. Jeff was staring at me, which nearly made me jump out of the bed. I quickly remembered that he slept with his eyes open and that he was still asleep. I kissed his cheek, hoping to wake him up. Sure enough, his eyes seemed to focus on me. "Damn. If I could be woken like this every morning, I would." I stood up and slipped out of my nightgown. Jeff's mouth dropped a bit, which pissed me off. "Well, don't stand there! You have to have seen a girl naked before, at least once!" His mouth was still open as he shook his head. I turned red. "Oh... Well, stop staring!"
I grabbed a shirt and threw it on. "Are you done staring, now?" I snapped. "Yeah... Sorry, Iris." He looked down with a small smirk on his face. He didn't regret a thing! "You're a dipshit... But you're my dipshit." I bent down and kissed him on the head, softly. "Thanks, Iris." I slipped into pants and thought about how rudely I'd talked to Jeff. "Jeff... I'm sorry I was so harsh on you... That wasn't right..." He sat up and yawned. "It's okay... Your feistiness is one of the most lovable things about you. Who wants a shy, quiet girl? Fuck that! Sassy, bad girls are my type. When you tell someone off, it kinda turns me on, not gonna lie." I smiled. "I still treat you poorly, though. Sorry." He kissed my lips softly, and I laughed a bit. "Jeff... You're beautiful..." I whispered to him. "Thanks... I know... You're just as beautiful, though."
We both got up and ate breakfast. Jeff called Slendy, afterwards and told him that we should all meet for lunch. Slendy happily agreed. We wanted to announce our new relationship to everyone, and we couldn't wait until dusk.
Time passed slowly, so I went to watch Jeff box a bit. He is amazing to watch if you see how every blow hits the punching bag. Jeff is definitely proud of his skill, and I'm proud to tell him that the way he moves is sexy. He smiled and responded with "You know it!" I laughed a bit at him.
When it was finally time to go, we began to walk over to the meeting house. I was very excited to let everyone know that I returned Jeff's feelings. Jeff had a smile on his face as I held his hand. "Jeff, what was up with Skully? Why did she like you?" I asked. "I don't know. Ever since we met, though, she's had a thing for me. It was creepy, though! She liked to stare at me for long periods of time... Creepy bitch."
We talked all the way to the house. Now that we were dating, it was almost like we could tell each other everything. I hadn't felt this happy for a long time.
When we got to the house, Jack opened the door. I knew he didn't like me, so I didn't try to sway his opinion. If he didn't like me, that was his choice. "Hey, come on in." He didn't even notice that we were holding hands.
We walked into the house, and saw a
Slender Man standing next to Masky. "Hey Jeff, Iris. Both of you look... Happy." Slender Man said, awkwardly. "Are you two holding hands?" Masky asked rudely. Before Jeff answered, I kissed him on the lips. It took no time for him to kiss back. "Wow... That's a mindfuck if I've ever seen one." Masky laughed. When I pulled away, I glared at Masky and gave him my middle fingers. "Yeah, we're in love. What do you want?!" Hoody was staring at us with a what the fuck look on his face. "Well, I didn't see that coming. At all." I stepped away and Jeff followed. I wasn't looking where I was going and I ran into someone.
"Hey, what where you're going!" I snapped. "O-o-oh... So sorry, Iris... I will." I recognized the soft voice. "Hey, BEN." I said. "Iris... Uhm... Masky told me to be more straightforward and commanding... With a better attitude... So, here I go. Will you do me the honors of going on a date with me? Please?" He was not making it easy. "BEN... I'm so sorry... But I... I'm in a relationship with Jeff." Jeff yanked me forward and pressed his lips against mine. "She and I are in love, BEN. Grow a pair and move on."
BEN stared at Jeff for a minute. Bloody tears rolled down his cheeks. "Wh-wh-what?! Iris... But I love you, Iris! I honestly love you! Don't you love me? Can't you love me?! Please?! Please, please, please, please, PLEASE?!?!?!" I looked at him with pity. "BEN... I'm so sorry, but no... I can't love you. I love Jeff..." His tears gushed down in streams. "IT'S NOT FAIR!!! I NEVER GET THE GIRL!!! I LIKED LINDSAY, BUT SHE LEFT ME BECAUSE I WAS SO WEAK AND NERVOUS AND QUIET!!! I LOVED IRIS, BUT SHE LOVES YOU!!! WHY CAN'T I WIN JUST ONCE?! JUST... JUST ONCE?!?!" BEN cried as he screamed and I looked at him with pity. "I love Jeff, BEN. I'm sorry..."
He looked up. BEN stared at Jeff. "You. Shouldn't. Have. Done. That." BEN tackled Jeff to the floor in a fit of rage and slammed his head into the ground. "Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die!" he screamed. I ripped BEN off of Jeff and pinned him to a wall. "Don't hurt my boyfriend, BEN!!! Calm the fuck down!!!" BEN began to breath slower and stared at me. He teared up again. "But... I love you..." I hugged him. "I'm sorry, but I don't feel the same." BEN ran out in tears. Jeff and I waited for him, but he didn't come back in. "Poor BEN... He was such a sweetie... He didn't deserve that." Jeff wrapped his arms around me. "He had to hear the truth." I still felt guilty, but my mind went onto another subject. "Are you hurt?" I asked softly. "Yeah, I'm a little sore, but I'll be fine. I kissed his head. "I hope you're okay... I could never forgive myself if you were too hurt."
