Iris's P.O.V.
I stared at the ring for the longest time. How long had he wanted to ask me that? And the way he asked me, "Would you please never leave me again," is one of the sweetest things someone had ever said to me. I sort of froze up, thinking about it. Did I want to be his forever? Forever was a long time... But if I had to spend it with anybody, it'd be him.
"...Yes... Jeff, yes." I wasn't crying like most girls, but I felt like I could if I wanted to. "Iris..." Jeff scooped me up in his arms. "Thank you." Jeff kissed me, and I happily kissed back. Eventually, he began to try to squish his tongue into my mouth. I wasn't sure at first, but then I remembered, soon, we would be married. There wasn't any need to not do things, now.
Jeff stuck his tongue in my mouth and we made out for a while. When Jeff finally pulled off of me, he took my hand. "I know that you wanted to get married, so I decided that it was finally time to ask you." I nodded. "Thank you, Jeff. I love you." Jeff kissed my forehead. "I love you, too."
Jeff took my hand. "Should we... Tell people?" I asked. "No... Come with me, first." Jeff had a hold on my hand. "Where are we going?" I asked. "Just come on!" Jeff had a hold on my hand. He pulled me a little ways outside until I saw the man, Zalgo, standing in front of the house. "What is he doing here?" I asked. The man was smiling. "I am here to give you an early wedding gift." How did he know I was going to be married? Did Jeff bring him here? What was going on?
"Jeffrey has summoned me here. He has requested for you to obtain immortality. Would this be pleasing for you?" I nodded. "Ah, very well. Give me your hand. I shall do what I must." He pulled a sharp needle out of his pocket. The needle was then jabbed into my hand and I stared as blood began to form. I tried not to tear up, thinking that maybe this was some sort of strength or resistance test.
The blood was spread and smeared on my palm. Zalgo began tracing symbols into my hand. "Do you swear under my power and rule to obey me?" I nodded. "Yes then. Iris Morerose, you are now an immortal. You will live forever by Mr. Philips, your fiancé. Congratulations." He bowed his head and began to walk away. "So... That's Zalgo, huh? Confusing guy." I whispered. "He isn't that bad, actually. He's just really weird."
Jeff stepped back. "Do you... Feel any different?" I shook my head. Wait! Maybe my physical imperfections were corrected! "Do I still have my scar?!" I was so excited. "Um, yes... Iris, becoming immortal doesn't change your appearance. You still have the scar there, as well as the scars on your arms and back from fighting with Skully and Pinkamena. If it worked like that, I'd look a hell of a lot different." I looked down. I traced the scar. This thing was never going away.
My mind went back to the wedding. I grabbed Jeff's hand and pulled him in close, kissing him. "Let's go tell everyone."
