Iris's P.O.V.
Jeff and I walked up to the area where we were prevented from entering. "Now what?" I asked. "How the fuck should I know?" Jeff responded. "Well... I guess we could try and get their attention." Karen suggested. BEN stood in silence. "Alright, Karen. What do you think will get their attention?" I snapped. "I don't know! We can figure something out!" I sat on a nearby rock to think.
Suddenly, there was an incredibly loud barking in the distance. I looked up to see Smile rushing at us. Smile! I missed him so much! I sat up and watched as he ran into the invisible wall blocking us from entering. He kept barking and trying to get to us. "Think they'll notice that?" Jeff asked me. "Maybe." I whispered.
In the distance, a figure was running towards us. Hoody. I waved and screamed at the top of my lungs. He saw us and stopped dead in his tracks. "Aren't you guys... In the underworld? And who's the chick?" he asked. "We escaped, and this is Karen. She has some... Unfinished business." Jeff explained. "Okay... I can't let you in without Slender Man's permission... He isn't doing so good." he sighed. "What happened?" I asked. "... He and Pinkamena had a son... But I found the kid laying with all of his guts sprawled all over the place. He was only a few months old... Slendy is broken hearted." Hoody explained. "Okay... Can we talk to him?" I asked. "Sure... I guess."
He returned with Slender Man. "Why was I brought here?" he snapped. "Look." Hoody pointed at us. "What... I... I banished them. How did they escape?!"
Karen stepped forward, her long raven black dress flowing. "I helped them." Her voice was filled with a mixture of confidence and a bit of sadness. The two of them just stared at each other. No one dared to speak. "... Is that you, Karrie?" he asked softly. "Yes... I helped them escape the underworld. They're good people... Though I don't completely trust one of them." Slender Man turned around and let out a huge sigh. "I... I thought you never wanted to see me again." he said coldly. "I was so wrong! I did... I missed you..." she said quietly. "Well... You're too late. I'm happily married." Spite was in his voice. Karen turned away, as well. "I know... I just didn't want to leave our friendship on note we did. I came to say sorry... Not to win your heart."
She began to walk away. I looked at her with pity. Sighing, I looked back at Slender Man with a glare. "Where is your wife at?" I asked. "I'm right here... However, you shouldn't be." The pink haired bitch walked over. "Well, we are. And guess what? I'm pissed." I snapped. "Oh yeah? Well, I give zero fucks how you feel." Flipping her off, I glared at Slender Man.
Turning around, I glanced at Karen who was walking away. She was sobbing into hr hands, not wanting to be seen. I felt a feeling that I rarely felt surge through me and almost... Take me over. Pity.
"Okay, Mister Slender Man. You need listen to me. You need to get a fucking grip on reality, okay? Seriously... What the fuck? Your wife is using you, and you're too much of a lovesick dumbass to realize it. Karen actually cares about you! She came all the way here for you, to announce her feelings... And you turn her down for a fake slut. You should be ashamed." I ranted on a bit. "What? I do love my Slendy! She's a liar! You're a liar!" screamed Pinkamena. I walked up to her and put my mouth close to her ear and whispered "And you're losing your control. Who's the bitch now?" I backed away with a grin on my face.
"Slendy, you have to believe me! Are you gonna believe that bitch? I mean, come on! Cheating and lying is in her blood... Isn't that right, Daddy's girl?" Before I could kill her, Jeff grabbed me and whispered into my ear "She isn't worth your time." He began to pull me away. "How's your family, Jeff? Are they good?"" she asked. Jeff stood still for a minute before he kept walking. "Oh, right. You brutally slaughtered them. Why? Because you're a monster. A horrible, ugly monster." Tears began to stream down his face. "And I don't know about you, but I don't think that monsters can get the beautiful girls. That's for the princes... Of course, you killed her prince." He shook his head and wiped a tear out of his eye. "You kill people on a regular basis. It doesn't even phase you, anymore, does it?" Jeff held tight to my hand. "You're a monster... And I know what you fear. I know what your weakness is." I turned around. "Yeah, he's afraid of fire. So what?" She chuckled. "No, you dumb bitch. His other fear. Hurting you." I turned around and looked at Jeff. "I don't care. He's my killer..." Jeff was now on his knees, crying. "He knows that deep down, someday... He will lash out on you. He's a monster... And he knows this, he accepts it." I tried to help Jeff up, but he wouldn't budge. "Maybe one day, you'll piss him off... Angrily, he'll slit your throat and watch as blood splatters all around. Not knowing what he's done to that most precious to him, he just walks away. Then, it hits him. He, the monster, killed the pretty girl that he was trying so hard to protect. He's a monster."
I'd had enough of this bitch. She crossed the line when she insulted me by associating me with my dad. But then, she had to screw herself over even more by making Jeff cry. That was when I really had enough. I stood up and walked over to her, looking her in the eye, I pulled out my knife and stabbed at her. She laughed as pathetically, I missed. "You're going up against a well trained immortal. What do you expect?" she asked. She kicked me straight in the stomach and sent me back a bit. I coughed up a bit of blood and stood. "Just stop. Trying to kill me isn't helping you." Slender Man was staring at us. I hope he had seen her true colors, which she finally revealed to us.
Before I could swing at her again, a hand was placed on my shoulder. "I'll take it from here." Jeff passed by me and pulled out his knife. "I'm done with you. You manipulate Slender Man, insult me, and target Iris. That's where I draw the line. All you do is cause pain and misery. Manipulating, lying! killing... You're just as bad as me. You're a monster, too." he hissed. It was rare for him to act so mature. "... Slender Man... Help." Slendy turned away.
I stared in wonder as Jeff pulled out his knife and stabbed her in the arm, pinning her against a tree. The knife kept her pinned there. He threw a punch and hit her right in the jaw. He repeatedly beat her until she went limp. Jeff kicked her one last time in the stomach before turning around. "Jeff... That was impressive." I said, smiling. "Thanks, I-" Jeff was cut of by a knife going through his chest. Coughing up blood, he fell to the floor.
I ran to him, picking him up and cradling him in my arms. "Jeff? Jeff!? JEFF!?" I was crying. I knew he was immortal, but momentarily, he was dead. I kissed his forehead. The sting of tears hit my eyes hard and I pulled the knife out of his chest. Don't blame the knife, blame the one who uses it. Pinkamena was smiling, but she was quite a few feet away from Jeff. It wasn't her who I stared at as I wept, no... It was BEN. He had stabbed Jeff. "Why?" was all I could squeak out. "I... I wasn't thinking... I'm sorry-" I slapped BEN clear across the face. "Don't talk to me, you bastard. Don't even look at me." I hissed. Bloody tears filled his eyes, but I ignored him.
Pinkamena was smiling. "That boy... What an idiot. All I had to do was tell him that he could hurt Jeff... He did the rest." I gripped the knife. "You bitch..." I jumped on top of her and stabbed her in the shoulder. She winced in pain and shoved me off, ripping it out. "And this, Iris, is the end of your little tale. I'd say you had a nice run... But hey, you'll have to die eventually." She brought the knife down, and I stared at her, waiting for her to bring the blade down. It never came. Why? Because Karen grabbed her wrist and kept her from stabbing me. Pinkamena began to struggle to free the knife and I managed to wiggle free of her grip. "You bitch! You fucked me up!" Pinkamena screamed. She slammed Karen down and stabbed her in the stomach.
I stared in horror. It happened so fast that I wasn't thinking. Karen saved my life, and was stabbed for doing so. I scrambled by her and stared into her eyes. "Why did you do it? I thought that you didn't trust me." I whispered. "Yeah... Even after I told you I didn't trust you... You still supported me with Slender Man... Thank you..." Slender Man shoved me aside and lifted her up. "K-K-Karen... I'm so sorry..." He held her close to his heart.
He turned to look at Pinkamena. "You... You bitch!" Slender Man picked her up and ripped her head off in a manner of seconds, letting her blood spill all over. He held his dying sweetheart and I turned back to Jeff, who was sitting up. "Iris?" he called quietly. I crawled over towards him. "Jeff... We're alright." I buried my face in his chest and let him wrap his warn arms around me. I never wanted to leave his grip. "We're alright... We'll make it..." Jeff kissed the top of my head. "I'm so glad..."
I looked back at her body and thought about some of the things she said. "I guess I'm a monster..." sighed Jeff. "No... I think we're all sort of monsters..." We began to walk away. I took one last glance at her corpse before sprinting to keep up with Jeff.
