Iris's P.O.V.

Slender Man placed a hand on my stomach. He was checking on the condition of the children. I'm not sure how, but I didn't give a shit, really. Dr. Smiley had to attend to his "patients" today, and couldn't check up on me, so Slender Man offered to do it.

He looked up at me. "Mrs. Philips, there is good new. It looks like your pregnancy is progressing well. Everything looks healthy. However... It seems the baby is a blonde..." Jeff looked up "What?!" he screamed. "Ha, I was just teasing, Jeffrey. Calm yourself. No... The little monster is definitely yours." Jeff nodded, pleased.

"So, Iris, how have you been feeling? The weight gain is normal... For this occasion." he said mysteriously. "What do you mean 'occasion?' " Jeff asked. "Ah... When the birth comes, you shall see." Slender Man sighed.

Jeff held my hand. "Is the baby alive?" I asked. "Yes. The child inside you is indeed alive." I sighed with relief. I don't think I could take another child's death.

"So, Slendy... How's Karen's pregnancy going?" I asked. Karen had found out she was pregnant a couple weeks earlier. "She's fine... I suppose. My brothers each had different reactions. Splendor Man nearly cried, Trender Man squealed, and Offender Man asked that if it was a girl, he had permission to 'fuck her hard.' I told him he could go to hell." I smirked. Gotta love Slender's bros.

"So how has Iris's strange cravings been going?" Slender Man asked. "She woke me up a couple nights ago to make pancakes with ketchup on top... Not as bad as before, but just as aggressive when I asked her if I could keep sleeping." Slender Man laughed at Jeff's misery.

"Anything else notable?" Slender Man asked. "No. Everything else is pretty good." Slender Man nodded. "Alright, I'll say the same thing Dr. Smiley would say. Get plenty of rest, eat well, don't ignore craving, etcetera, etcetera." Iris nodded. "Thanks, Slender Man." Slender Man bowed his head and left.
